CS Needs Another Archivist

I really don't want this to seem like a jab at the mods of CS here but we have only one archivist...and often the archive doesn't get updated in a timely matter.

I understand that the archivist has a life, so possibly hiring one or two more archivists would really help the site as a whole.

What's everyone's thoughts?

definite support, it's a lot for one person i'd believe, so to add another person or two would be a good way to lift the weight off one person, especially during events. really can't see any negative reason this couldn't be done ^^

I agree! While it’s not the archivist’s fault for not having things updated quickly, it can be a lot of work and having helping hands would probably be useful!

Agree, we are clearly having issues with archiving being on time which honestly is not the archivists fault. They're busy, they have a life. This could easily be combatted by hiring more archivists

Support! I think it could definitely help lessen the load on the current archivist, especially since people have lives and can't always update such things immediately.

Just adding, I think the archivist does a great job! I just think that hiring another archivist or two could really help the current archivist. I don't want this to seem like a bash to the archivist currently. <3
