This may sound corny, but I have adopted the idea that a country's capital is represented as their heart. |D

..IT'S CUTE. <3
Agreed. I personally prefer to think of their vital regions as parts of their body that it hurts if they are destroyed/taken over.
(Man, that makes no sense. XD)
Also--yay! You finished your fic! =D Please tell us when your MEP part is posted.

I'll let this and
this explain it.
It was
lovely. I seriously enjoyed it with a passion. X3
Now, time for me to find some epictastic audio from it on YouTube.
Edit:
Found it. XD
KittyKat1001001 wrote:@Most of ya (XD): What can I tell ya? I originally started reading the webcomics because the person who sat next to me in AP US History was into anime and kept on mentioning Hetalia. Also, the power of Wikipedia for most history-related things is great. Just don't use it for religion or politics. XD I also like to read lots of stuff all over the place and recently a plot bunny attacked me while I was reading a book on the 1950s in the US, which had the Korean War in it. This led me to researching about the Korean War (by starting on Wikipedia), which had an interesting piece on the USSR not liking the PRC taking the ROC's spot on the UN Security Council, which led me to wonder about when that switch in governments happened. X] (Plus I'll be a Senior in high school come this summer so I have the advantage of age, mwahaha. However, ask me anything about Africa beyond Ancient Egypt and the Apartheid or anything on South American history and I'll be clueless. XD)
Ooh, interesting. =D (Aww, you'll be a Senior? I'm sad. One of my friends who likes APH IRL is a Senior too. I hope you'll be here in College; CS, I mean. Still, congrats on that! I'll be a Sophomore! =D) I use Wikipedia for historical stuff too. It's actually fairly spot-on most of the time.
As for me, I got into APH when one of my crazed hardcore yaoi fangirl (
fujoshi is too light a term for her) told me that she'd loved it, thought it was cute, and that I was a total America (which she was totally off on--I'm more of a self-proclaimed Canada, Liet, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, England and a slight bit of America all rolled into one, IMHO), and when I asked her how he was, she said something along the lines of, "Well, he's loud, obnoxious, awesome and annoying." XD
"Well," I'd replied, a little ruffled by the comparison, "who are
you, then?"
"I'm France." She grinned.
"How's he?"
"He's a fabulous perv."
I took that in. "...I see it, man, I see it."
XD
(Sorry for the fanfic/novel-like dialog, I just didn't know how else to do it without it getting kind of cumbersome with "And she was like"s and such.)
