I thought it depended on the token combination rather than luck

as far as im aware, token pets are all distributed by rng, there's no certain combination of tokens that guarantees which outcome you get
so its either everyone is extremely really unlucky, or the ratio behind the works is a bit wonky

is it just my bad luck or is the blue token bwolf really common to pull? the trading thread has alot of them for swaps too,
and i just pulled my 3rd one instead of the last red one i need </3

oh no… the ratipede banner pet is SO well-done (seriously, major props to the artist!)… and i have a massive fear of bugs.

the day has finally come where i will need to collect a bug in order to complete an event collection.

what if when i get it, i just put it in a little group by itself where it can’t hurt me (:

(yes i know it can’t actually hurt me. but… insects bruh.)

i hope this doesn’t come off the wrong way, i can tell the art is really good and i’m not criticizing it at all! it’s just that, personally, i categorically fear insects. so much.

It's not taken the wrong way at all! When I made it, I wanted to keep in mind that many people would still find it unsettling and have a fear of bugs when it came to it, so I went very lightly on the traits it did have and tried not to make it TOO creepy. I appreciate that people can enjoy it while also admitting it might not be something they want to own! I also very much respect those that want nothing to do with it at all regardless of art, event, or anything else.

If it helps, there's a secondary (or tertiary? besides 'rat', obviously!) theme in Long Rat that might not be immediately obvious! It's got a very subtle wrought iron lamp theme! It's why I made lights inside it XD I wanted the rat to seem like it was bubbling with light and energy through its body. (I know that probably does not help, it's still a creepy crawly XD)

Man I must be lucky, I somehow got a full collection of the butterwolves on the first go round. I should try and collect a few more to see if my luck holds!
