If this becomes a thing I want to respond to each prompt whether or not I've won one in the past or not. Don't even care if it's not a qualified entry if you've won in the past etc. Writing and CS are my two main hobbies so I'd like to make it a thing I do each month if possible.
This has not been discussed much yet (great question) but I am inclined to say yes, there would be no “if you won you are done” aspect.

This could be interesting! I've never tried to write stories in English but I'd be willing to try

Sorry if this was addressed somewhere but would only the winner get prize or will there also be eg. second and third prize or top 10 get something or..?
I had nice signature once

I think this is a really cool idea! Like others have mentioned, there could be a difference in skill level. One thing that could help break up the playing field is for the stories to not have a name attached until judging is over. That is something the literary journal that I worked with a few years ago did for their contests. The manager would take care of people sending in the stories, so she would get their name and the story title, but the judge would only see the title and not the name attached. (Hopefully that made sense!)
Either way, this seems like a really cool idea, and I would love to read new stories and see what the community can come up with!

I would love to participate in a writing contest! The only problem is whether or not I'd be able to find the time to do so. I also think other contests would be neat, especially for those who might not be writers, or aren't necessarily story writers. Off the top of my head, I can think of poetry, drawing, painting, and crafts as ideas ^^

Definitely interested!! I would love seeing more competitions in the future, too!!
"I want to become a prince just like the ones in shoujo manga...!"
"Good morning! I hope today will be a good day too!"
"Ha! Today is the release day of a new volume...!"
"Do you read any manga? I can give you some good recommendations!"
"The next volume of my favorite series is on sale today!"
"I hope I'll become a prince one day"... "There, that'll do it. Wait, did I say that out loud?!"
"Yay! I love sweets! Thank you for the chocolate!"

As someone who is exclusively a writer, I find this idea fantastic. I feel like many sites only focus on their artist fan base and don’t offer anything to people who only write. It’s nice to be given the opportunity to show off your skills! This also opens up the potential for other types of contests as well. Maybe to prevent the chance of someone winning multiple months in a row, there could be a cool down for entering after you win one? Like, if someone wins November’s prompt, they have to wait a month (or other period of time) before entering again.

I think the anonymity,
whew, what a word to spell! Let alone say. of this idea is great.
