Yazmin, Yaz or Yazzie to her friends, used to be a soft, quite, and aloof woman, more than content to fade into the background and live the life of the perfectly average. She was the girl who sat alone at lunch throughout most of high school, and it was only in college that she began to come out of her shell and finally get some offline friends. They found her to be kind, insightful, and remarkably witty, if a bit awkward and prone to internet-isms.

Despite being, by all accounts, friendless but for the past few months and a few faceless people on the internet, Yaz doesn't really come off as a lonely person. She's perfectly content to be by herself, with her daydreams and errant thoughts for company. Friends are nice, but they aren't vital, and because of that she manages to escape the clinginess and desperation so common to people of her general proclivities.

Of course, the operative word in this description is "used to be". About a month ago,Yazzie vanished, and her reappearance has raised several questions. First, how she managed to turn up here, exactly when her friends would. The second, is that she seems... different. On a surface level she's still the same quiet, slightly awkward nerd that they met in college, but something seems slightly off about her now, as though that persona is just a facade she's very poorly maintaining. Beneath that, she seems excited, almost eager, but for what nobody can really say. Her smiles are a little too broad, her witty barbs dinged with something sinister. She's not outright malevolent, and her odd mannerisms could probably be written of as a stress response to whatever happened to her while she was missing, but she's definitely not the same woman she was a month ago.

Personality:Rowena is a very charismatic young woman. She is a social butterfly and knows how to talk her way out of most situations. Despite being so sociable Rowena often keeps people at an arms length and there are very few whom she considers friends. Rowena is a very collected individual; it's a rare occurrence to see her unnerved or shaken. Even during high stress situations she always seems to have a cool head. Whenever she is faced with a problem she always thinks it through and does not act until the perfect moment. Rowena at her core is a perfectionist, and will often hold herself to high or even impossible standards. She is highly ambitious and is always looking for ways to improve herself and her standing. Rowena's high standards often make it difficult for her to feel satisfied with her achievements or herself. This is a secret that she keeps well guarded, not even her closest friends know. History:Rowena comes from an incredibly wealthy family her father is a real estate broker from Manhattan and her mother is an actress from Ireland. Although it would appear Rowena had the perfect life the reality isn't as great as you would think. From a very young age Rowena's actions, and appearance were strictly monitored by her parents and extended family. Rowena had to act in a proper manner otherwise if she ended up making her family look bad as a result she would be punished. When she was younger she would throw tantrums and argue but as she got older she realized that would just make the punishment worse so she learned to comply and did her best to be the perfect daughter. The pressure to be perfect only got worse when Rowena's younger twin brothers were born since it was expected that she had to be a good role model for them as well as help teach them manners. All this pressure caused Rowena a lot of anxiety and as soon as she got accepted into college she left her family far behind and got her degree in botany and is currently going to law school to study tree law. She does keep in touch with her family but Rowena keeps them at an arms length and doesn't bring them up in conversation much.
