If her feelings at the moment were physical, her eyes would be blue. A sad conflicted blue reflected from her soul to her clanmates, but almost fully at their leader. Jadestar's own kit was missing, there's no way she's as calm as she seems on the surface. Having to make hard decisions for the clan under this sort of stress had to be painful emotionally. She wanted to console her, promise they'd find the apprentices, but it was different making a promise to a kit and a promise to your leader. So out of respect she kept quiet, only listening to the orders with most of her attention.
She was relieved that Jadestar respected her wishes, putting her in the search patrol. She couldn't help the slight surprise and concern shown in the widening of her eyes when Jadestar announced she would be going on a seperate patrol, alone. Surely they wouldn't let her leave without company? They don't know what to expect from this situation. Surely this was a decision made from stress, isn't that all the more reason to not leave her alone? She met her brother's eyes as he caught her gaze, trying to convey her panicked thoughts to him through their held stare.
Her eyes shifted when Ottersnap obeyed Jadestar's wishes and began to leave the camp, gesturing for the two siblings to follow. I don't like this but I need to trust in my leader. Jadestar can handle herself, even if the circumstances are.. a little personal. She leaves these thoughts with a sigh, bowing her head, "we'll stay out as long as we can, we will find them." Praying to Starclan that these hopes are not false, she turns to leave with Ottersnap, knowing her brother will follow.
She caught up to Ottersnap, pace becoming brisk as she scanned the surrounding area. Early light filtered through the trees, it may be a little difficult to spot things in detail at the moment but that would quickly change with the rising sun. She tsked her earlier thoughts about this looking like a nice day; there's still a chance the day can improve if they find the apprentices safe and sound, but something in her gut doubts it. "Where should we go first? Or would we rather split up to cover more ground and meet back here later?" Even as a trained warrior the latter option didn't feel right, if there's something out there it's safer to be in a group. On the other hand if there's nothing, then they could save time by splitting up. She looks to the other two for their opinions, this is a group decision after all.
Awesome people~
