Northstar | leader | female | tags: Honey of The Royal Court (lottiecat) ✰North chucked softly at the question. She was about to say ‘I’s my clan, I do what I want’, but it didn’t seem fitting for the persona she was playing. She thought about it for a moment. “As the lord, I choose my successor. One I find most fitting to take over and that’s someone I have trained since they were a kit.” She looks at Honey thoughtfully. “In a way it’s similar to the Royal Court. Though she is not related to me by blood, she is like a daughter to me. I can understand why your father thought you would be the best for the job.”
Tealeaf | knight | female | tags: open ✰The young knight looked anxious as she made her way across the sea of cats. That was nothing strange. Worried was her permanent state.
Woodkid | knight | male | tags: Edenhum of Wheatclan (Bugbelly) ✰Woodkid smiled back, his body relaxing, seeing that Edenhum wasn’t mad about the whole situation. “I’m Woodkid”, he said with a nod of his head. “I live in Whiskered Away, though I was born in a different clan. We moved when I was just a kit.”
Nefari | healer | nonbinary | tags: Sunsetstep of the Lightwalkers (✫ Metagalactic ✫) ✰“It’s nice to meet you Sunset. That’s a lovely name.” His fluffy tail swooshed from side to side, swooping some of the leaves. “Oh yes, I’d like that very much!” After the invitation he moved closer to Susetstep and sat beside her. He straightened his back and gave a look both ways. He seemed satisfied with this being the observation spot. “I really like observing the world and new things. My leader’s isn’t really a fan of that - she prefers to rush head first into action.”

Mockingbirdstar -- tom (he/him) -- Leader -- tagged: open
The first gathering ChaosClan had been to in a while. So much had happened, and the leader wasn't sure how to even tell anyone about his clan anymore. He found himself wishing Charstar had volunteered to go instead, but here he was, he couldn't change that. Instead, Mockingbirdstar plopped down near the leaders, keeping his head low and seeing if there was a cat left to talk to, his somewhat late arrival making him apprehensive.
Laurelpaw -- nonbinary (they/them) -- Apprentice -- tagged: Rootpaw (WheatClan; Bugbelly)
"A... cloak," Laurelpaw tested the word, tilted their head and smiling. "That's awesome," they breathed, beaming over at Rootpaw. "Maybe I'll find something cool to wear someday too! I can't imagine what your siblings' accessories must look like, I'd love to see that one day!" Laurelpaw liked this cat, and enjoyed her energy. They waited patiently as Rootpaw finished asking her question about ChaosClan, laughing along with her as she finished her joke. "I think ChaosClan lives up to its name," Laurelpaw said earnestly, shaking their head a bit and laughing. "It definitely seems pretty chaotic most of the time, but I think that's only because there's so many cats! I love living in the clan because I never run out of someone to talk to or things to do, and I really like to keep my paws occupied with tasks," they admitted, smiling over at Rootpaw. "How about you? Do you like your clan? Have you lived there your whole life?"
Cocoastep -- tom (he/him) -- Deputy -- tagged: Moonriver (TruffleClan; littleminicooper)
The tom gave a nod of approval, sending his gaze around the clearing of cats. He shook his head at Moonriver's question, squinting a bit. "I can't say I've ever been to one of these before, nor have I truly seen this many cats in the same place." Cocoastep moved one of his paws across the dirt absently, thinking. "I've really only been a part of my clan for a very short while, and it only just found its beginnings, truthfully," he said openly. He scowled at himself at his lack of introduction, giving a grimace. "Sorry about not introducing myself," he said, offering a slightly pained looking smile. "I'm Cocoastep, deputy of TwilightClan."
Snowpetal -- she-cat (she/her) -- Warrior -- tagged: open
Snowpetal was watching from a short distance from the main group, keeping her eyes on Midnightstar, ready to help her friend if necessary. She wasn't actively seeking a conversation, but kept herself open for anyone else who might want to chat on the sidelines rather than in the thick of things.

Cockroachstar laughed at Thunderchaser's excitability, "When I first joined Tundraclan, I chose the name Cockroachsneeze. It didn't make sense, because, well, cockroaches don't sneeze, obviously, but I thought it was cute." He grinned. "I'm from Tundraclan! Though Cockroachclan does sound cool, I don't think my mate Hollystar would approve of changing the clan name." He smiled. "Your clan's new, huh? Well, good luck! I wasn't around when Tundraclan first began. Barely any of our current clanmates were, except for Wintersneak I suppose."
The silver bengal nodded in understanding. Sometimes it seemed like the greatest threats were inside of her own clan, so it was a welcome sight to have a predator around. Better than any insurgency. “We had a snow leopard attack us a few moons ago. The first one we’ve seen, actually. It was a bit of a surprise when the patrol came back and told us a snow leopard had attacked them. We’re used to arctic foxes and things like that.” Her eyes softened, “Foxes can be brutal, I hope you’re alright though, Laurelstar.
Celestialtrail purred with laughter at the ginger tom’s joke, “I feel that. Tundraclan has about two hundred cats, and only four medicine cats. It can be a bit overwhelming.” he meowed. He looked over at Sapphirestream and nodded understandingly, “Oh, an apprentice? Goodluck! I think I’ll be assigned one soon, hopefully.” He looked back at Dahliapetal and spoke, “Tundraclan has been well! Our prey is still running and our cats are thriving, which I’m always grateful for.”
Failnaughtfire grinned, “A few of my clanmates like to adopt lost kits. One of my clanmate’s had an adopted dad who spoiled her rotten.” He smiled at the thought of Raspberrybush, who had adopted Teddybear as if she were his own kit. The albino tom listened as the two talked about their other perma-queens, then spoke, “Tundraclan’s perma-queens are elders now, but still look out to help any kit in need. Maybe I’ll ask one of them sometime if they feel alright enough to come here.”
Sootblotch purred at the compliment, “Thanks so much! I like your name as well. It’s cool how your name has more than one word!” They mrrowed. “We live near a beach, so sometimes we swim. We don’t really hunt squids, and I think the origin of Squidclan is that uh… hm. I think it’s just because we live near a beach.” they nodded at his apology, “It’s okay! I understand. It can be a bit confusing.”
Wrenspark nodded, “I’m glad I didn’t have the job of naming a whole clan. Way too many options!” he purred with slight laughter. The persian shivered as the molly mentioned being a leader, “I hope I never have to be leader! Too many decisions for a single cat. And I have to give names to cats? I would accidentally pair the worst prefixes with the worst suffixes just because I think they sound pretty, like Blazeburn or Lakeriver!” he meowed.

He nodded appreciatively. "Thank you kindly." Glancing away, he viewed his patrol from afar. They had all found conversations- Light with a similar-looking cat, Almond with another as well, and even Moth had found a good conversation. Smiling at the success, he looked back at Oakstar. He was glad his cats had been comfortable- forgetting the fact they had all been to gatherings before. Woops.
"Rain deters a few," he mused, whiskers twitching teasingly. "Though, its really nothing bad. If anything it gets the prey out of their burrows and birds into the trees instead of the air," he smirked with thought. "Not sure how far your home is from ours," he gently meowed, shrugging. "If you want to accompany us home, we'll gladly show you the way." He smiled. "You don't seem to threatening," he added, with a small wink.
As Oakstar described his own camp, Flickering nodded. "Ah, we use trees too. Only we have tree houses. Like, the human (Flickering does know what humans are, he doesn't call them twolegs) houses housecats live in. Just overgrown. Thats where I sleep, I and my Oakwood, Light," he purred gently. "The Sapling, Sapling Venom, Tree Leaves, and even the Sacred Trees live in these little warm huts. Everyone else lives in burrows in the ground."
At Oakstars notice, Flickering nodded. "I suppose it's not the usual, seeing you clan cats. Those Venusclan cats had weird names too, Almondjoy, Corruptedlight, Craniumstrike, and one even was named Starpaw! He had no marking on his paw. Well, I guess he did have an extra toe on one or something," they rambled with a huff. Though they nodded at Oakstars explanation. "Our's is more complicated. As a kit, you earn one name from your parents. I give them a name when they turn into tree leaves. Then they become Bark, and usually they choose their name. Its different for every cat and I could go on, but I don't want to ramble off you're ears!" he exclaimed teasingly.
Well, turns out the two of them had similar issues. Small talk- something difficult to really avoid, but something that was difficult for most to uphold. Huffing, he nodded. "Snake ancestors, yes!" he lept upon the chance to refer to them. "Prince, Attoike, Zodiac. I mean, I'm not the..highest believer, but it's getting there I guess," he shrugged. "Prince shows up to help with naming certain cats, like the Oakwood Venom or Sapling Venom- leader or medicine cat. Others too I guess," he shrugged. "Attoike warns us about danger and Zodiac usually just pops in to talk in dreams or something, not sure why."
After his speech, he stated, "I've never heard of Blizzard Spirits myself," inviting a reply.
