Hey! I'm sorry to bother. I'm not new here but it's been a minute and I'm a little confused by the rarity updates. I'm on mobile so it's a little hard to maneuver.
What is a rerelease gear back tribal equal to on the rarity scale? 2014 release. I see the list but I'm having a brain fart!

It's worth exactly the same as a true date. A lot of people do prefer true dates, and don't value rereleases quite as highly. But exactly how much that matters varies from person to person. Personally, I'd choose a TD over a rerelease if given a choice, but it doesn't make a big difference to me either way.

2 2021 Pets (same rarity) = 1 2020 Pet (same rarity)
2 2020 Pets (same rarity) = 1 2019 Pet (same rarity)
2 2019 Pets (same rarity) = 1 2018 Pet (same rarity)
So with that info,
1 2016 Common = 2 2017 Commons = 4 2018 Commons = 8 2019 Commons = 16 2020 Commons
1 2016 Common = 2 2016 Very Commons = 4 2016 OMG So Commons
Right?
That's correct. And that first example is why I hate the "2:1 rule" and I don't think it makes any sense. 90% of people are not going to trade SIXTEEN '20 commons for a '16 uncommon. (The second example seems reasonable to me.)

As much as I love the Demand Master Post, I think that it may be harmful in further pushing the values of pets too far by adding more demand on top of the demand already listed, despite the warning in the post itself. One example of this that I've personally seen over the past few months is the Dragon Cat PPS, which has doubled in value from .25 nons to .5 nons from what I believe to be people misunderstanding the demand master post, thinking that .25 nons is the base trading value, which has now skyrocketed to .5 nons base trading value which people are continuing to add more demand on top of.

Sadly I fear this'll happen regardless of a demand post or not :-/ People tend to want at the very minimum what they traded for a pet and with certain people pushing values out of their own greed it will gradually get worse over time through values circulating via word-of-mouth.
