Creamflower smiles at Laurelblaze as she returns the greeting, happy that the elder is in good spirits. Upon seeing Softpaw approach the elder and bombard her with questions, she rolls her eyes and looks at Sunstrike, listening to his comment about it. "Are we legends now Sunstrike?" she asked, deciding to play along. She gives the tom a wink in hopes he will catch on.

He left the camp to take a walk to the meadow, he was not so happy about the warm sunlight, but the day itself was beautiful so why not take a walk? He sat on a rock near the meadow and looked at the views taking one deep breath of the fresh air.

She turned her gaze elsewhere for a moment and was surprised that the queen who seemed so down just a moment ago come to her to offer a hare. The way the queen was being looked at she thought her to wanting to be alone, but likely that was not the case "morning Willowbreeze...sure we can share that..." she responded, even if she was not that hungry yet, but she didn't want to be rude to the queen.

She looked at Darkpaw and her brother Wolfpaw approving them too but didn't have much time to answer the questions made as both Ripplepaw and Wolfpaw were picked up by their mentors "yeah see you two later" she called out for the two toms. She saw her mentor Dawnheart talking with the leader there, but she did not have any hurry anywhere, so she didn't mind her mentor keeping her conversation with Shadestar. She turned to Darkpaw "It seems we're the only ones left now" she meowed to him "good morning by the way" she continued.

She looked in the distance, turning her eyes at the much younger she-cat who seemed to follow her out of the camp "morning Bella..." she meowed rather an empty tune in her voice. She blinked her eyes as she listened to the she-cat "No need to call me Miss...Quailsky is just fine" she meowed looking at her 'why me?" she wondered herself 'Is it because I was from a clan? Or because I am old?' she kept thinking, then shook her head with a sigh "I don't mind teaching you, I need to go hunting anyway, you can come with me if you so want to" she meowed.

He woke up at his nest, when his mother left the den, his eyes following her to the camp entrance as he slowly made his way out of the den. He was a little worried about her, but what could he do to help her, she just lost her mate.

Dawnheart/36 moons/Warrior/Stormpaw, Ducksplash

Dawnheart finally made her way over to the apprentices den to see Stormpaw with a number of the other apprentices and Ducksplash. "Morning all," she mewed and gave Stormpaw a warm smile. "Mind if we join you?" She asked Ducksplash as he discussed what to do with his own apprentice.

Sunstrike/44 moons/Warrior/Laurelblaze, Creamflower, Softpaw

Sunstrike scoffed at Creamflower's comment, though there was no actual irritation behind the noise. "I don't know about you but I've always been a legend," he meowed with a slightly haughty tone. He knew he was one of the best fighters they had in the clan and his hunting skills weren't too shabby either. He looked the cream she-cat up and down for a moment, icy gaze scrutinizing. He sniffed, "I suppose you can join in my legendary status."

Darkpaw/9 moons/Apprentice/Lostsoul

There was a brief moment of disappointment when Lostsoul told Darkpaw he hadn't seen his mentor. It was quickly wiped from his mind though when the young tom invited him to hunt. "That's be great!" he chirped. He hoped that Patchfur wouldn't mind, but his paws were itching to get something done today.

Wolfpaw/9 moons/Apprentice/Ducksplash

A grin crossed Wolfpaw's face as he peered up at Ducksplash from his position on the ground. He didn't mind the extra time to lay about and do nothing, but he was itching to get out and do something. The longer he spent in camp the more likely someone would tell him to clean dens. He rolled onto his paws as his mentor asked him what he wanted to do. He liked that about Ducksplash, most of the mentors just told them what to do. "Can we do some battle training?" His tail waved in excitement.

Falconshade/27 moons/Warrior/Ripplepaw

Falconshade kept an eye on Ripplepaw's form as he crept towards the mouse. He was happy to see the young tom following his instructions to the letter. He purred warmly and gave a nod of approval, "Well done! Go ahead and bury that so we can track that squirrel. We'll get it on the way back to camp." While he waited he kept his ears pricked and scented at the air to get an idea of where the squirrel had gone. It smelled like it ran deeper into the forest, he just hoped it hadn't climbed a tree.

As Nightmare came over to her Holly flicked her tail idly, "Good morning Nightmare," she greeted the dark tom with as warm a tone as any of the rogues ever got from her. She gave him a nod as she pushed herself up and stretched, "I need more marigold in case you mouse-brains get into a fight and burdock. Shouldn't be too hard to find." She knew the area well enough already and recalled a marigold patch that wasn't too far. "Come on then," she lightly flicked his flank with her tail as she made her way to the entrance of the den.

Ducksplash let out a mrow of amusement at his apprentice's excitement. "We can definitely do some battle training! Maybe after that we can do a bit of hunting, if there's time." To Dawnheart, he added, "You're always welcome to join us if you'd like. As long as you're okay with that, Wolfpaw?" He couldn't imagine the apprentice having any objections, and instead asked more-so out of habit.


Softpaw

Relaxing at Sunstrike's reassurance, Softpaw mewed, "I could get you some poppy seeds, Laurelblaze. Or daisy leaves if you don't want to be sleepy!" She paused for a moment, then nodded to herself. "Or both, if it's really bad."


Witherwillow

Wither glanced at Minnie briefly. "Fine, I suppose," she replied. "Watching the day go by. I might try hunting later. Have you got any plans?" She looked at the other she-cat properly as she asked the question, less because she was worried about being rude and more because she was worried about other cats thinking she was being rude. An important distinction, as far as Witherwillow was concerned.

indentationHe lay at the edge of the opening of the mouth of the cave that the clan called camp, tail curled neatly around his paws. His eyes were half-closed, his posture relaxed, and a soft rumbling purr worked up his throat and out of his mouth. He wold rest here for a while. yes, that seems quite nice. He though as his mind was lost to the calm river of darkness.

indentation The old feline snorted, shooting Sunstrike and Creamflower a look that screamed exasperation, before turning her gaze back to Softpaw. "No need for Poppy Seed's, little kitten. I slept enough yesterday, and I'd like to enjoy most of the day sunning myself. So I think just some daisy leaves will do." She meowed cooly, keeping her green gaze on the smaller feline for a few moments before returning her attention to Sunstrike and Creamflower. The elder snorted, and gave the two a mock-pompous scathing look, "Ah, Little Sun, you a legend? Maybe, but if you've always been a legend, then I've long since graduated to a myth." She said with a decisive swish of her tail. "After all, it takes a legend to teach a legend," Laurelblaze added playfully.

indentation Thunder was silent as his second padded away, heading over to the resident healer. He watched them for but a moment before turning his attention elsewhere. Or rather, his attention wandered, his eyes slipping from cat to cat, his mind practically blank. Sighing softly, before laying down, his front paws tucked under his chest, the ginger feline allowed his eyes to lull to a half-closed state, and just relax. If only for a bit. Hopefully, nothing would go terribly wrong. He could have spent his time thinking about more important things, like future plans, but instead the mentally tired tom, just decided to rest at least for a little while.

indentation Tail curling with excitement and trepidation, the feline nodded. "Y-yes! Thank you Quailsky!" She said with an excited but stuttered purr. "Thank you for this opportunity, I'm really happy that I didn't have to go ask someone else." She gave the older she-cat a sheepish look, "Everyone else seems so intimidating." She whispered, embarrassment making her ears flush with heat. Shaking her head as if trying to chase away those feelings, the bright-eyed she-cat cheerfully trotted along with the she-cat. "So, were you planning to hunt anything special or specific today?" Bella asked, curiosity lacing her voice.

Tigerpaw was batting a random leaf on the ground while sitting, it seemed fun to him for some reason.

Shadestar spotted Tigerpaw batting a leaf around and smiled. He got to his paws and padded over, pausing to bat a peice of moss to him. "Hello Tigerpaw." He greeted the you tom warmly.


Lostsoul/15 Moons/Warrior/Darkpaw

Lostsoul gave the other tom a kind smile. "I know a place that's been overrun by birds. We could start there." He said softly. "Come on." He said leading the young tom out of camp and to the spot he'd seen all the birds. He crouched down and slipped under a bush to keep hidden. "Keep your paws light and tail up." He said to Darkpaw. "Now personally I care more about you landing without hurting yourself than catching one." He said turning his head to look at Darkpaw. "I landed wrong my first time hunting birds and hurt my paw pretty badly. Shadestar was beyond worried." He chuckled softly. "When I say go rush out and jump as high as you can after them. One. Two. Go!" He charges out of the bush, startling the birds. He launches after one, hitting it hard with a paw before launching after another and catching it with his jaws, delivering swift bites to both birds. He quickly turned his attention to Darkpaw to watch him.

Halfmask/34 Moons/Warrior/Dawnheart(Briefly)

Halfmask was already up, having guarded the camp entrance that night. She shook off the cold of the water droplets from the waterfall and greeted the next cat to guard the entrance and headed over to the fresh kill pile and grabbing a squirrel off of it. She padded over to the warrior's den and sat outside, eating her prey in peace. She greeted Dawnheart with a soft mew as she walked by.

Hollowsight/24 Moons/Warrior/Open

Hollowsight was out of camp, having spent most of the night in the forest cause well...he couldn't sleep and loved being out at night. He felt at home out in the woods, listening to the night time noises. He mewed a quick greeting to the guard and padded right into the warrior's den and curling up in his nest.

Ripplepaw/7 Moons/ Apprentice/Falconshade

Ripplepaw looked beyond happy at the praise he received as he quickly buried the mouse, before moving back to his mentor's side, his ears listening for any sounds of the squirrel he'd dented earlier. He loved hunting because even if he failed, he learned more and more from each experience.

Willowbreeze/38 Moons/Queen/Branchflight

Willowbreeze watched the other she cat closely and sighed softly. "You don't have to share this with me if you're not hungry." She said softly. "In all honesty I'm not hungry but I know I should eat something..."


Nightmare/30 Moons/Second In Command/Thunder Holly

Nightmare chuckled softly. "Oh come now Holly." He purred. "Do you really think I enjoy throwing myself into battles?" He said with a teasing mew, as he followed her out of the den. He stayed close to the she cat as they padded along, his tail brushing along her flank here and there as he listened for any danger.

Thorn padded out of the sleeping area and shook her fur. She looked around and spotted Nightmare awake but didn't bother the tom. Instead she padded off to do some hunting for herself and the others.

Minnie shook her head. "Hmm maybe hunting or practicing some battle moves. Can't be too ready for when we run into any dangers." She said with a purr. "I'd love to hunt and battle train with you since you're so strong!"

She watched Darkpaw going with Lostsoul, she was never close with the black young tom, so that didn't come as a surprise to her. Sighing she looked to her mentor who approved her at least, she turned to Wolfpaw when Dawnheart asked his mentor for them to join together. She was not a big fan of fighting but did know that it was important to learn those skills too "So...brother...It seems we're doing some battle training together" she meowed to him.

Quailsky

She looked to the woods above them "you think so too? yeah they seem intimidating" she meowed silently. She had noticed that the rogue leader had his eyes on her and her son Skyclaw. It made her a little worried and more unsure if staying in this group could be the right choice, she didn't have her mate to protect her any longer she was alone. She shook her head "we will hunt what we can find, hunting just one species is waste of time" she meowed to her. At least she could do something to keep the other cats at the group pleased by hunting as much as possible "...so you said you know the basics? then you can smell and say what we can try to hunt down in here?" she meowed to her.

His eyes wandered around the small almost empty camp, he noticed the commander talking with the Nightmare and had this weird little bit of nervous feeling inside of him. He always felt a little bit left out, but now after the death of Spruce his mother's mate, it only got worst. He felt like he could do something, but was a little scared to ask the Thunder for what he could do, or could it give a wrong idea to the others if he left the camp alone to hunt.

Dawnheart sent the white and gold tom a grateful nod, turning her attention to her own apprentice. "Does that sound alright to you Stormpaw?" She asked the younger she-cat. She could understand if Stormpaw didn't want to train with her brother, the tom could be a handful, but it would be good practice.

Sunstrike turned to look back at Laurelblaze, meeting her exasperated gaze with a mildly scandalized look at the nickname. He wasn't an apprentice anymore, but there was a small part of him that felt warm at the term. Any other feelings were quickly swept away though as he let out a mrrow of amusement. "Myth sounds about right, you're old enough to be in them with the rest of the founders," he shot back with the same playful tone.

Darkpaw/9 moons/Apprentice/Lostsoul

"Ok!" Darkpaw chirped. He really didn't mind where the other tom took him, he just wanted to get out of camp and actually do something with his morning. He followed after the dark tom and followed his instructions, the same ones that Patchfur had told him a number of times in the past. He winced sympathetically when Lostsoul told him about landing wrong. He'd thankfully not been injured too badly in his tenure as an apprentice, mostly thorns in his paws or the occasional scratch that Mousepuddle had no problem fixing. He nodded, tensing his muscles in anticipation for the sign to go. Once Lostsoul called out he followed quickly, setting his eyes on a fat sparrow. He bunched his legs and sprang into the air, just catching the wing of the sparrow and sending it spiraling to the ground before landing with a thump and nipping it on the neck before it hopped away. "I did it!" He looked to Lostsoul, his tail waving proudly.

Wolfpaw/9 moons/Apprentice/Ducksplash, Stormpaw

Thank Starclan Ducksplash didn't want him to stay and clean out dens. He gave a nod, "That sounds great!" He was always happy to take the time to spar with his sister. He turned to Stormpaw with a grin, "Ready to get kicked in the tail?" He mewed teasingly, leaping forward to bat her on the head with a sheathed paw.

Falconshade/27 moons/Warrior/Ripplepaw

With a wave of his tail Falconshade led Ripplepaw deeper into the woods. He cautiously followed the scent of the squirrel and paused when it got stronger. He crouched down, gesturing for Ripplepaw to follow his lead. The squirrel was nibbling at an acorn in the brush surrounding a small clearing. "Let's try some partner hunting," he meowed quietly, "I'll creep around and scare the squirrel towards you and you just need to catch it before it scrambles up a tree." He carefully shifted, thankful for his brown pelt helping him blend in, making sure to stay downwind. He waited for Ripplepaw to get in position before he leapt out at the squirrel, batting at it's tail to get it to run towards his apprentice.

Holly/52 moons/Healer/Nightmare

Holly resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the dark tom as she led them in the direction she remembered the marigold patch to be in. "Could've fooled me with the number of times you've come to me with scratches." At the very least their second liked to get into fights with thorn bushes. Her pelt prickled slightly each time Nightmare's tail brushed across it, but she didn't shift away from him. She kept her nose out for any other herbs to refill her stocks and perked up when she smelled the familiar scent of burdock. She waved Nightmare to follow her and let out a pleased purr as she saw the familiar broad leaves. "Help me dig up the roots of these and be careful not to break them," she told Nightmare as she began to claw at the dirt.

Creamflower listens to Sunstrike and Laurelblaze joke around with each other and giggles, finding it all amusing. "I guess you're both right!" she said with amusement. She gives Sunstrike a playful nudge on the shoulder for fun.
