Wolfchill couldn't help but smile as Wrenspark spoke. "I don't know what I would do if I ever had the job of naming an entire Clan. That seems like far too much pressure," she sighed dramatically. She would never name the Clan after herself, that's simply too conceited in her eyes, but how could she decide? The territory? The nearby creatures? The nearby plants? "I could never even be a leader. That's an exhausting amount of decision making," she curled her lips at the thought.
Freuxfreckle was opening and closing his jaw like a fish stuck out of water for more than a few moments before he got his words together. "Well, ChessClan's surely not getting any better. You know us, one disaster or another is always waiting to strike," he joked half-heartedly. With the recent loss of many clanmates, he held a bitter resentment for the Clan's continued misfortune. "Enough about ChessClan, how are you? Where have you gone off to?" he meowed, his heart constricting as memories of the past started to rise. He needed to forget about Rookstar and focus on the present, even though the loss of his mate had nearly destroyed him.
Dipperduo pressed her nose gently to Elmspeckle's head before whispering a few encouraging words into the nervous young molly's ear. "You'll be fine, just find a cat who looks to be about your age and introduce yourself," she purred gently, her voice raspy and crackly after the recent cold she'd been fighting off. After seeing the young molly off, she turned and bedded down. Her old joints ached so much that she was willing to wait for some cat to approach her.
Elmspeckle blinked rapidly, shocked that Chocolateswirl had answered all of her impromptu questions without even hesitating. Her admiration for this stranger increased tenfold, and she beamed up at him. She was still very kit-like in her mannerisms, seeming much younger than she really was. "I'm Elmspeckle of the Outback Runners. It is absolutely phenomenal to meet you, Chocolateswirl. I can't believe my luck that it's also your first Gathering. It seems so different from what I expecting," she chatted, slipping into a rhythm as if she'd known this cat for moons and moons. It was beyond strange, how comfortable she felt with a complete and total stranger, but that was just Elmspeckle's personality. Every cat was her friend, regardless of if she'd known them for a few seconds or her entire life.
Bonaparte entire body tensed as Netherstar begged for a story. "Well, my Clan used to be very close to our ancestors. One night, the bond was severed entirely. It was a physical and emotional pain like no other, experienced by the entire Clan all at once. Our soul birds, the bond with our ancestors, plummeted from the trees as they died. Then, a strangely magical fire burned our entire home and took with it over half our Clan. Now, we're stuck wandering. We don't know where we're going, and we don't know how long it will be. We just so happened to be close enough to the Gathering to attend," he meowed, his voice soft. Uncertainty edged every word, conveying what every cat of AviaryClan worried about. The death of their Clan seemed to loom over their heads, as if they were just clinging on to something that was already gone.
Robin forced a smile onto her face. "It's a lovely group of cats. At the moment, we're nomadic and trying to find our next place to settle down in. Of course, it's hard, but they're my Clan," she meowed. She had once called Sapsucker her platonic soulmate, and he was truly who her Clan was. She longed for him every second of every day, and today was no different. "What's TruffleClan like?" she purred.
Otter was running in circles, spinning from cat to cat in the hopes of finding a conversation. She was oh so excited to be here that she couldn't sit still.

Northstar | leader | female | tags: Honey of The Royal Court (lottiecat) ✰North chucked softly at the question. She was about to say ‘I’s my clan, I do what I want’, but it didn’t seem fitting for the persona she was playing. She thought about it for a moment. “As the lord, I choose my successor. One I find most fitting to take over and that’s someone I have trained since they were a kit.” She looks at Honey thoughtfully. “In a way it’s similar to the Royal Court. Though she is not related to me by blood, she is like a daughter to me. I can understand why your father thought you would be the best for the job.”
Tealeaf | knight | female | tags: open ✰The young knight looked anxious as she made her way across the sea of cats. That was nothing strange. Worried was her permanent state.
Woodkid | knight | male | tags: Edenhum of Wheatclan (Bugbelly) ✰Woodkid smiled back, his body relaxing, seeing that Edenhum wasn’t mad about the whole situation. “I’m Woodkid”, he said with a nod of his head. “I live in Whiskered Away, though I was born in a different clan. We moved when I was just a kit.”
Vie | knight | female | tags: Swanflight of Tundraclan (selkirks) ✰Vie sat down next to him and listened, nodding along. “Sylph, let me think…” She looked up into the sky trying to remember what her mentor told her. He seemed quite fond of the title, but she thought it wasn’t really fitting. “It comes from an old fairy tale if I ‘member correct. Sylph is some kinda fairy that’s part-wind or something and also has healing powers. Weird, I know.” She shrugged and didn’t really seem all that interested in the conversation until magic was mentioned. She grinned smugly. “Why yes. After all, I am a witch.”

macaroni | female | med. apprentice | tags: Maipaw (Forestclan ; Simonpet)Macaroni was glad she was talking to a fellow apprentice, especially one with as much energy as her! "I know! It's so cool!! All these cats from different clans here, all talking together!" Macaroni let out a tiny purr. "So how's your clan doing? Everyone okay?" she asked, her tail swishing back and forth.
Walnutchin couldn't help but smile as Blueberry visibly softened when talking about Frostflower. It was a strange concept in Walnutchin's brain, a twoleg showing affection for a cat, but she knew of far too many former kittypets to completely dismiss the idea. "Twolegs are strange creatures, even if I only know of them from stories. It must be hard, leaving your twoleg behind. You were very brave for striking out on your own," she chirped. She couldn't imagine leaving her entire life behind, even though she had essentially done that when PhoenixClan had disbanded.

Minnow's Mumble took a deep breath as he dug through his memories. "I've been to a few, but not many. It's way too far of a journey to make repeatedly," he groaned, imagining how sore his muscles would be if he attended a Gathering every single moon. He would have the most endurance out of his entire Clan, but that counted for little to nothing when your Clan prided itself on stealing prey from larger predators.

Cockroachstar laughed at Thunderchaser's excitability, "When I first joined Tundraclan, I chose the name Cockroachsneeze. It didn't make sense, because, well, cockroaches don't sneeze, obviously, but I thought it was cute." He grinned. "I'm from Tundraclan! Though Cockroachclan does sound cool, I don't think my mate Hollystar would approve of changing the clan name." He smiled. "Your clan's new, huh? Well, good luck! I wasn't around when Tundraclan first began. Barely any of our current clanmates were, except for Wintersneak I suppose."
The chimera was distracted from her thoughts as a younger she-cat bumped into her, apologizing and asking where the deputies of clans usually sat. The chimera smiled warmly, "You're just in luck, this is where we meet." her gaze shifted over where the many deputies of different clans sat a few foxlengths away from her, "I'm Eveningbirch, Earl, or, deputy I suppose, of Tundraclan."
