(as far as i could see, there aren't any other PS fanclubs... let me know if there's already an existing one!)

Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! feat. Hatsune Miku, often shortened in many forms (Project Sekai, PuroSeka, PrSk) is a mobile idol rhythm game featuring original characters and vocaloids. Beyond gameplay, there are options to read storyline, play multiplayer, view music videos and watch shows put on by the game's characters.

There are 20 original characters, split into 5 units: Leo/need, MORE MORE JUMP! (MMJ), Vivid Bad Squad (VBS), Wonderlands x Showtime (WxS), and Nightcord at 25:00 (25-ji, N25). Vocaloids featured include Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and KAITO.

Project Sekai was developed by Sega, Craft Egg, Colorful Palette, and Crypton Future Media, and was first released September 30, 2020. There are currently 4 servers: the Japanese server, Taiwanese (Sept 30, 2021), English (Dec 7, 2021) and Korean (May 20, 2022).

• please remain respectful of others' opinions. we will always interpret the game differently to each other, so please let it go if someone doesn't interpret a character's personality/relationship the way you do and it upsets you.
• for simplicity's sake, this fanclub will discuss EN server content only. please do not mention content available from other servers, game leaks, glitches, or future content not yet announced for EN.

whew... i just had this idea to set up a fanclub for PS like an hour ago, so i had to get this started pretty quickly before i go to bed. it's 12am already 😵‍💫 i'll include some more links and resources to tidy things up and all. are the rules all okay?

how's everyone doing?

my faves are akito and tsukasa, but i think toya, rui, emu, kohane and minori are also quite close to my heart. i like most of the characters, so trying to rank them is really difficult... it's like ranking your pets, you love them all and can't compare them to each other.

i am probably one of the few people who reads the storyline... i've been slowly trying to read through all the events and the backlog. it's time consuming and kinda exhausting, because i am invested in quite a few of the characters haha.

i haven't been able to play much of the game recently, really. both my wrists are injured (because of this game...) so i've been resting them for a while and let autoplay do its thing. thank god whoever decided to implement it... i absolutely depend on you.

I've also been taking a break for my health. Luckily I'm definitely more of a casual player when it comes to completion or daily log ins so I'm just waiting until I feel better (plus a couple of days) to start up again

I dont really read a lot of the stories, but I've been trying to get into it a bit more. My favorite character is Mizuki by a VERY large margin and I've been reading some event stories involving them. i recently figured out that watching virtual shows gives you stamps!! I've mostly avoided them up until now since they tend to feel very long to me (I didnt even tune in to the mizuki bday show!) but it's worth it for extra Mizuki stamps! I definitely show favoritism in how I play

Excluding the vocaloids my next favorite is probably Rui, but I really enjoy WxS mostly as a whole. Probably my favorite as a group. Reading the event stories has increased my appreciation for N25 as a whole though so maybe WxS should watch out

As a side note adding trust rank to EN has been so fun. I'm getting everyone possible up to rank 5 trust with Mizuki so I can decorate my profile, and then I'll work on others :) cant decide whether I'm going to level up other faves + miku first or WxS characters with each other....

Hope this intro (?) post wasn't too long! I forgot to mention any of the like gameplay elements (which is funny since it's the main reason I play), but I'll save that for later.

my wrists have been healing, which is great. still using mostly autoplay, but playing on expert level after like several weeks of not that has been really nice 😌

i've found a lot of cool things in virtual shows actually, like hanging out with other people and seeing everyone wave their lightsticks and jump along is really fun. even by yourself, you just get to watch the characters dance with a front view seat. i think you might get crystals after watching a virtual show live, like the ones that have a limited time and not the ones you can come back to after the event.

i'm super obsessed with stamps, seriously, i want every single one of them. i'm planning to make wonderhoy stickers using the emu stamp too 😋

the trust rank is slightly overwhelming, as someone who is a completionist!! i want every trust rank at the highest level. i don't really like change out my leaders and subleaders frequently, i just change them around if i want to increase a character's rank (for the "play as leader x times" thing).

The wonderhoy stamps are so cute. I love when people will use them in group shows <3 honestly all the emu stamps are a joy. Her energy is so infectious.

I recently got up to Expert level, and full combo-d my first song. Its still a toss up whether I can even clear a song 24 and under though haha. It'd be nice to be able to confidently clear songs in that range eventually... I'm happy though! This is my first rhythm game and i figured I'd be stuck at hard forever

i consider myself pretty chill as a completionist, it feels more like a long-term goal than something i'm consciously pursuing every day.
i remember when i used to play animal crossing: pocket camp, there were some completionists who complained about a newly added gacha feature, since it'd mean they'd have to spend copious amounts of real money to play the game how they wanted to. my patience is probably from the fact i'm a f2p player - i'm not going to get everything immediately, but i can at least slowly work up to my achievements. and it's very satisfying that way haha.

honestly, i want to buy all the emu stamps!! it's hard to prioritise which stamps i want to get. these days i've just been following along with events, and getting a stamp of a character cheering someone on as relevant (e.g. minor-central event, i'd get a minori stamp that might say "you've got this!").

expert full combo! that's dope man. i can play through expert well enough, but i always get a "good" while i'm playing. i know some people struggle with missing early or late in the song, but i always miss in the middle - the worst curse.

go at your own pace, really. i injured my wrists trying to quickly improve - kept playing level 26/27 over and over again without warming up. you know this already, but progress happens slowly, and that's fine 😚

that makes total sense in regards to completion. I think thats a super healthy way to look at it, especially as a f2p.

missing in the middle sucks so bad because then you dont get the combo rewards up until the very end when you finally manage to get a full combo :,) its definitely on a song by song basis for me.

speaking of songs.. its been so awesome getting so many new song releases because of the Anniversary. Marshmary especially is one im really excited about! Its a little outside of my range on expert, but im able to full combo it in hard basically every time, which was a huge goal of mine when i started playing (my friend plays on the JP server so i got a sneak peak). Have you been excited about any of the recent songs?
