Guava Apple Coba Teti (Uxmal): Tell me how your cat would explain genetic inheritance to another member of their clan. Would they even understand it themselves?: Early in his prior leadership, Hyenafern learned that kittypets often came with varying sets of knowledge, and his interest grew when, upon finding out the leader had wished to be a healer, a kittypet two him that when he stilled lived with two-legs, they would bring him to a place called a "vet" for his health. In his time conversing with former kitty pets, both as a leader, and now as a healer, he has learned quite a bit, and genetics has come up in a conversation from time to time, especially from those who came from what they would call "breeders. Still there is much that he knows is beyond his own understanding, and while his curiosity still burns bright, he knows that for many, a simple answer is better. For him the answer he feels works well goes something like this:

"Imagine the stars that make up the pelts of our ancestors in starclan. Those stars are with us now. When a kit is born, their some of their parents stars pass onto them, and those stars are what make up their pelts. Some stars though only shine under the right conditions, and some of those stars pass on from generation to generation, until it becomes their time to shine."

Pick a name for the bases GACT, U, and for the groups purine and pyramidine.: Flare would definitely call uracil "six-legged starfish" and pyrimidine "trident", purine being called "sugar glider". He would totally call thymine a "three-eyed snail" and guanine an "upside-down cat"! Adenine ends up being called "something that looks like what I would've drawn while I was a kit, yikes" and cytosine is... the slightly-rotated-but-still-a-snail! The names for the bases may look simple and forgettable, but it's the imagination needed that helps the knowledge remain in his head!

I'm really sorry to say, I thought the 3rd post looked a little short and I double checked and it was 120 rather than 150 words, so pretty close! I'd be up for giving you the slot if you edit in a little bit or find someone who hasn't been included, and then DM me or reply to me to show me the edited increase. I'd also be fine with just counting a separate post if you're nearly ready to post to.
I do really love this response, though, especially the comment on Adenine's appearance, lol

has your cat ever pulled off a trick? Pup isn't much of a trickster, she's the responsible one out of her litter or at least claims to be. The only prank she keeps trying to pull off is taking kits out of the nursery to play with them, to much dismay of the queens.

has your cat ever pulled off a trick? Sheepsong doesn't usually like to be the center of attention and doesn't like other's attention being on her in a negative light, so there isn't much that she has tried to do trick-wise. When she was young and lived as a Kittypet, however, Sheepsong would consider her sneaking out of her home a trick on her Twolegs, trying to convince the kittypets she lived with to follow her lead and push against the loose window screen on warm days to escape.

Their younger brother (second litter) Foxflame disappeared one day after he told Riversong he was onto something with Icyclaw and friends, and Riversong took it to her own paws and searched for her missing brother along with friends Arumwhisper and Quickflow, finally finding Foxflame's body under some leaves in the Pine Grove. Turns out, he was murdered for eavesdropping on Icyclaw and friends and getting caught.

WHAT PART OF NATURE IS YOUR CAT'S FAVORITE? Meteorfall loves the cycle of water! Specially the part that happens in the sky, how the high humidity in tropical forests (such as the one in their clan's territory!) Can create flying rivers, how rainstorms and rivers shape the ground and make plants grow, every drop of water is important for this cycle, even the groundwater in the depths of the earth or the snow covering the top of mountains, have their places in this very well crafted cycle.

what excuse would your cat make up to avoid embarrassment?: Sweetyam would blush beet red, but not really make up an excuse. Instead, she would politely inquire as to the origin of the cats condition, and ensure that they were not in any sort of pain, before commenting that it must be very useful for disguising oneself from prey, especially at night. Living in a cave especially, she can see value and beauty where others only see strangeness.

What costume is your cat wearing and why: If Fogwhisker had to choose a costume for Halloween, he would dress as a pigeon. It's not exactly the most creative choice, but he'd have a good time collecting feathers to stick into his own fur. Halloween is all about having fun!
