Caveclan
Harespring is tagged with Applestar(Forestclan), Carrotstar + Leafwhisker(Seaclan)
Harespring followed Applestar’s gaze towards Adderstream and his daughters, keeping the group in mind to later tell his clanmates, who’d be eager to hear about them. He was sure Tigerjaws was already bursting to tell Mistfall about their Forestclan friends. “Congratulations!” He purred, happy for the Forestclan leader. “Becoming a father was the best day of my life.” Harespring told him. “You and Boulderpelt will be great parents.” He turned his attention to the newcomers, startled.
Oh! So this was another pair of leaders, or atleast a former leader and the current leader. Harespring dipped his head respectfully to the pair, wide eyed, as Applestar introduced him. Former leader? He hadn’t realized that it was possible for a current leader to give up their position and retire. Seaclan? He thought he remembered one or two of the apprentices talking about meeting a Seaclan apprentice or two at gatherings before. He hadn’t expected to meet their leader. “It’s nice to meet you both,” Harespring replied, careful to keep his tone respectful in the presence of the three leaders. “Anyone who is allied with Forestclan must be good cats.” Harespring told them with a friendlier nod. He couldn’t officially extend an offer of alliship with Seaclan himself but Morningstar would want to know about them. He glanced curiously at Applestar, wondering if the leader was referring to his friendship with Tigerjaws and Mistfall.
Cloudpool is tagged with Aspenpelt(Secretum Stella), Bananapaw(Chaosclan)
Cloudpool’s whisker’s twitched with amusement as he listened to Bananapaw. “Too many questions are never a bad thing,” He purred. “When I have an apprentice, I’ll have to make sure to introduce you two. You two seem so similar. She’s still a kit right now but Mosskit is already in my den everyday asking me so many questions.” He said happily. “You’ll have a great name, I’m sure!” Cloudpool's eyes darkened with sorrow for Aspenpelt and Bananapaw as they spoke and the medicine cat gave them a sympathetic glance. “I’m sorry for your losses. If I may, what happened was not your fault. Sometimes, there is just nothing that we can do even as medicine cats.” He told them, holding each of their gazes for a few moments. Cloudpool shuddered slightly, thinking back on his own experience with Shadedleaf’s death. “I’ve struggled with that guilt as well.” He admitted. “It’s hard. The hardest part of being a medicine cat.” He sighed, studying Bananapaw sadly. “If your mentor comes to the next gathering, she’s welcome to talk with me. Medicine cats should support each other.” This was a difficult conversation and if Bananapaw’s mentor did want to talk, that would be equally hard but Cloudpool didn’t want her to suffer the way he had after Shadedleaf’s death. “What’s your favorite part of being a medicine cat so far?” He added onto Aspenpelt’s questions.
Tigerjaws and Splashpaw are tagged with Adderstream fam
“Your father!” Tigerjaws eyes widened, but he forced himself to stay quiet and not interrupt the tom again. As Adderstream fell quiet, waiting for his response the swirled tabby blinked slowly, mind whirling as he tried to process everything he’d been told. “I-I’m sorry for your loss.” Tigerjaws said softly, a flicker of grief in his eyes. If anyone knew what it was like to lose a parent, it was Tigerjaws. He and Willowtail had lost their mother, Ebonywing, to a badger attack as well. An attack that had also occurred in camp, resulting in not only Ebonywing’s death, but poor Maplekit’s as well. At the realization, Tigerjaws narrowed his eyes, blinking at Adderstream in confusion. “That happened to us as well. A badger attack in camp. My mother died during that attack.” A badger attack in both camps wasn’t coincidental was it? “Applestar and Boulderpelt must be thrilled! Congratulations!” He purred. Forestclan seemed to have recovered well from their attack. “Rippleshade and Grey, our elders, sometimes have the same complaint about our own nursery,” He joked. “We’ve got around 12 kits right now.”
Splashpaw didn’t know who the sisters were talking about but cliff running sounded so cool! “What do cliff runners do?” She asked then hastily added, “Besides run of course!” Splashpaw knew her siblings well enough that when a question like hers was asked, it was better to state the obvious herself rather than let another cat do it. Toadpaw and Alderpaw had so much fun doing that and it annoyed the brown tabby to no end. “Does Forestclan train in anything like cliff running?”
Robinpaw is tagged with Lunepaw (Seaclan)
“I’m sorry if I scared you!” Robinpaw gasped, feeling a stab of guilt when she saw Lunepaw’s fur relaxing. She hadn’t meant to scare her and Robinpaw wasn’t entirely sure what had happened since it had been Lunepaw who’d called out to her first but it didn’t matter anymore. Robinpaw perked up, eyes brightening at the other apprentice’s praise. “Oh that would be great! I hope we can meet someday! I hope she feels better soon! She’d probably like Laurelpaw, tpo. She’s one of my denmates and probably the nicest one of us besides Wrenpaw.” The tortoiseshell told her. “How many siblings do you have? My brother and sister, Wildpaw and Pepperpaw, are back at camp. They’ve both been to a gathering before and I’ve been so excited to come!” Robinpaw told her.
Pinyonclan
Sagestar is tagged Raggedclaw(Geminiclan) and Eelstar(Tidalclan)
At least they got to experience their first gathering together, Sagestar thought, looking at Eelstar. It was reassuring to know that Pinyonclan wasn’t the only clan to be here for the first time. “I see why they wanted us to go. It’s a good thing for us to interact with the other clans.” Sagestar mewed. At Raggedclaw’s words, Sagestar tilted her head, startled and concerned. That did not sound good for Raggedclaw to be at odds with his ancestors. She followed his gaze to the tabby cat called Serena and then looked back at Raggedclaw curiously. “So everyone has different beliefs here then?” She mused curiously. “Allies are definitely important. As we’re so new, Pinyonclan has yet to form any allies.” Sagestar said, glancing between the leaders in hopes they’d understand her veiled meaning.
Fadedmoth is tagged with Panther(Royal Court)
“This is my first time.” Fadedmoth replied. “The first time for my entire clan actually. We haven’t been a clan for very long. I wonder if it’s always so crowded during these gatherings. There’s such a fun energy with so many cats.” The medicine cat glanced around the crowded clearing before her gaze returned to Panther. “Is your group, the Royal Court, new as well?” She asked curiously. “What is your clan like?”
Frostflower is tagged with Teddybear(Tundraclan)
“Not many trees?” Frostflower echoed, surprised. “That must feel so strange! Where do your birds live?” Pinyonclan’s territory was not exactly a forest but they had more than enough trees for a thriving population of prey. “Me too! We have another clanmate, Rookstep, who was a kittypet too. She and I lived in the same house together!” She studied Teddybear’s bow curiously and nodded. “It’s adorable!” Frostflower’s eyes grew huge as the little molly mentioned how many clanmates she had. “And I thought there were alot of cats here!” Frostflower exclaimed, stunned. “I have around 7 clanmates, including myself. I can’t imagine our clan getting to those numbers!” She blinked at Teddybear, stunned. “How does your camp hold so many cats!?”
Blueberry is tagged with Walnutchin(Chessclan)
“That sounds so peaceful,” Blueberry replied, relating it to his own clan’s canyon territory. In a way, they had quite similar territories, although canyons were a much more dramatic version of Chessclan’s peaceful valley. Or not so peaceful, Blueberry thought, at the molly’s shudder. He would not ask her about it though, Blueberry wasn’t about to drag her through what was clearly painful memories. “I haven’t lived with Pinyonclan long but it’s interesting. Much different from life as a kittypet.” He said, his tone brighter with amusement. “We live deep in a canyon where a river flows through the heart of the canyon floor and twolegs rarely, if ever, venture. Atleast, we haven’t seen any signs of twolegs.”
