Dear Staff,

Do you have a routine or schedule you live by?
If so, what is it?
If not, why are you an agent of chaos?

I wake up between 7:00 and 8:00 for work (sometimes I have to write the schedule where I come in an hour late, so I can cover peak times), then after that is the chaos of work, then I come home to eat, hobby around, read, and sleep.
Work is my regulator, but each day is different. Part and parcel of working with the public and leading a team.

Wondering if any of the staff, have any favorite item for pets? Like I know some people have answered favorite pet a few times, but I've never seen staff answer favorite item, or even favorite dress up. Any staff, is there any particular items you like, don't like, or a favorite dress up?

I always grab certain color candles or eggs from the lost & found
I have a massive egg hoard that I am quite proud of. Of those, my favorite egg is the angel egg.
On dressups, I love wings. I don't care for the tiny chibi floating wings all that much, but the others? *chef's kiss*

i have a strict commute routine! same transport every time, every day! but other than that i just follow whatever whims i've been assigned that day to fill any space between work/classes

Not really. I don't always have the same work schedule from week to week, so it really depends on that and what other things I need to get done. I'd benefit immensely from a routine but that's a lot of work and I don't have the willpower.

I work 8-5 M-F and my wife is supposed to be at work (same building) before 8, so my morning routine is... sleep absolutely as late as possible (like 7:25) and get up and get ready as fast as possible. Thankfully I only have about a 10-minute drive to work. I'm autistic and routine really helps me in general, but not when it's in a demanding or inflexible way. My work routine is very structured (task b comes after task a and before task c) but the exact time everything needs to be done has a bit of wiggle room. I don't have a real routine for when I get home; I need a lot of time to chill and cool down so I don't burn out. I also have a set bed time where I have to be in bed (on my phone though, usually) by 10.

I am a routine person, and the most important part of that routine is coffee.

I work full time Monday-Friday but it is hybrid - so I have 2 days where I work at home and 3 days where I work in the office. My routine is pretty much the same no matter the day - which consists of wake up, make coffee, work. The only difference is I get up a bit earlier to travel in on my 'work in the office' days.

After work I typically just relax with a game or a book, or I might join a group call with friends I was in university with (this happens about 3 or 4 times a week). Then on Saturday I am almost always out with (local) friends, and Sundays are reserved for the Formula 1 (if it's on that particular weekend) and going to see family relatives.

This routine does change every few weeks when I go to see my partner or vice versa (we're kinda long distance). But this happens frequently enough it might as well be part of my routine anyway to be honest.

I am a creature of habit, and having a routine helps my mental health quite a bit. I find I get a bit spirally when I don't have school or a job to go to.

I tend to try to stick to the same routine during weekdays just because work is like that, but I do not mind so much if I shake it up now and again. Having pets also definitely enforce a routine a little more haha.

I have a question for any staff member!!

When did you get your custom pet?
I sometimes like to sneak looks into admins and helpers pets to see if I can find their custom pet since yes, I enjoy looking at them, but sometimes I don't see any. Why's that?

Personal Life
1. My mom told me I shouldn't tell people this on the internet ;)
2. Cancer.
3. I have a dog named Milton and a Hedgehog named Spikeal!
4. Dogs all the way. I think cats are great and all but I love training dogs, the teamwork aspect is super fun.
5. I used to collect decks of cards, but after a while lost my passion and got rid of them. The only other thing I have that I intentionally collect is signed hockey stuff. I also learned once you get a hedgehog, everyone will gift you hedgehog stuff so inadvertent collect there.
6. Ambivert. I can pretend to be an extrovert but I get no charge from it and need to do some social battery recharge later. I am very happy just being a hermit on the other hand. However, because of the nature of my work, I am forced to do both haha.
7. I am terrified of spiders. I also really don't like heights.
8. Can't live without my husband. He is my rock, I adore him, he is the best. I'd say my dog but he's nine so sadly I know we do not have forever, however, we are enjoying every minute of having him now <3
9. Biggest comfort is a cup of tea and a good book. Bonus points if one of my two critters is on my lap enjoying it with me.
10. I love traveling. I have been international to England, Ireland (x2), Canada, and Mexico. I travel a lot domestically as well, my husband and I try to go to one national park every year. So far we have done Shenandoah, Sequoia, Yosemite, and a few others that are slipping my mind whoops. Of the places I have been, my favorites have been Sligo, IRE, and Montreal Quebec.
11. I have been a little lost recently since I don't really have a big goal anymore. For years I worked towards becoming a lawyer, and then I did that! So I am still searching for that big fish again. Short-term goals are to get in better shape, a possible slight career shift, and work on getting my dog over his leash reactivity.

Favorites
1. My favorite food is probably blue claw crab with old bay seasoning or my mom's Chicken Pot Pie. I also love artichokes dipped in butter. I will also consume just about anything that has peaches. For dessert, I am a sucker for Creme Brulee or just a really nice warm chocolate chip cookie with milk. I do not have much of a sweet tooth and prefer savory foods!
2. Cobalt or glacier blue. I just like blue a lot.
3. Snapple Peach Iced tea. However I really only have that as a treat. My favorite everyday drink is coffee. Iced, hot, you name it. My brand of choice is Grounds and Hounds, and my favorite blend is Soul Pup.
4. Foxes and orcas.
5. Apple pie.

1. My favorite is probably my most recent one last year, in 2021. It was a representation of myself and was fun to share some things about me.
2. A fox of some sort. Probably do the famous fox leap.
3. Business! Hurts my eyes the least.
4. Being part of the community - I love the other members of the team and a lot of them have become very close friends over the years.
5. One time when I first was an RP mod, Nadine and myself created a club called the Racats after my old name - Bel Racat. There was a racat uprising, and it was just the silliest, goofiest thing ever. Was definitely a highlight. I also loved the April Fools year when everything turned into furniture.
6. Adult! I like PPS and EPPS but I love seeing what an artist does on the adult canvases!

I really hate driving, but I’ll do it if the destination is good enough. I like traveling for poetry events and competitions, which ends up being most of the traveling I do.
