I need some advice!
I'm working on fixing up my suit. I took out his eyes, but it seems like the maker glued the eyes to the fur. How do I get rid of the glue?

Seconding this. I recently replaced the mesh in my fursuits eyes and you just have to carefully cut the excess glue with an exacto knife. Hopefully when you reglue in the eyes they’ll cover up most of it. Here’s a tutorial that helped me, maybe it’ll help you a bit as well: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=axKJYl1MoHM

Thank you both! Thankfully, I have some extra fur so I might be able to patch most of it up if it becomes too short.

I've heard a maker at a convention panel suggest acetone, I have never tried it myself though so you may want to double check or test it on scrap materials first!

ireally dont agree with this. acetone can eat away and melt the fur fibers making it so much worst

yeah idk if you try acetone definitely try it on a scrap piece of fur first.

id really just recommend cutting the glue out using a very fine pair of scissors. then you can take a bit of fur from elsewhere on the head (i like to cut a bit off the neck either at the very bottom of the neck or in a place it wont stand out) and use a needle felting needle to put the fur back on. ive tried it and it works well. im sure you can google a tutorial. ive also literally just strategically glued fur back in place before. :P
