day 33 of the search for a wermling
inkling has started to lose hope in finding a lost wermling out in the city ruins. of course, he doesn't exactly want there to be a little one out here all on their own, but he can't help but want to take one under his and trumpet's wing. he's decided to put his focus onto finding more relics for their collection. while inkling is focusing on other things, trumpet is still excitedly searching around for wermlings. inkling will never get how trumpet can be so full of energy. despite that, he still watches trumpet lovingly for a moment before returning to his scavenging.
(had all their story going on in my head, and then just now realized i could simply type it all out instead of it being a whole brain mess lol)
