sunken camera

A seemingly water-proof camera, fetched from inside the depths of the koi lake itself. It's entangled with sea plants and other miscellaneous water things. It's properly waterlogged though, and seems not to be working for now.
Oscar tried smacking it a few times to get the water out, and to his genuine surprise, that did not work. He shook his head in annoyance and left the camera by the windowsill instead, next to one of his well-kept plants. Maybe if it sat to dry for a bit, it may be more willing to comply.

/log1. The camera was completely dry at this point, or at least Oscar hoped anyway. He began fiddling with the camera, trying to figure out how to turn it on. Maybe this camera has some pictures of interesting things that will further nishineko knowledge, he was thinking. Why would anyone drop a perfectly-good camera into the koi lake anyways? It looked to be in perfect condition, save for the waterlogging. Were they taking really, really intricate pictures of the koi?
