↳↳↳ Applestar's patrol manages to have a diplomatic meeting with the dogs. The lead dog seems to be shocked that Doveheart can speak dog, but seems to appreciate it as well. Doveheart is happy to tell Applestar that the lead dog agrees to share peacefully and promises to speak with her younger dogs that had been terrorizing the Forestclan cats. A few pups seemed interested in learning to speak cat as well.

TidalClan

The sun rises, as it always does. If you turn your face towards it, and follow it until your feet hit the surf and your whiskers taste the salt, you might find the border to TidalClan’s lands. Land might be too strong a word, for at this time of day there isn’t much of it visible.

If you swim out to it, the camp will be dry land, or what passes for that here. At the highest tide, the water swirls underneath the matt of roots that form the lower layer. Apprentices scramble their way from tree to tree across these roots, in charge of bringing food to the hollows in the trees where the kits - or anyone wishing to wait out the highest tide - stay to avoid getting too wet. The freshkill is kept high too, to keep it out of the reach of small fish and crustaceans hoping for an easy meal. They’ll clean your fur for you too, if you stand still long enough.

If you don’t, and wish to explore the rest of the territory, islands scatter their way across the sandbank between it and the beach and then further, out towards the Whale-Wood. Come back when the moon is high and you can walk all the way from the beach to the strange wooden bones held together by the mangroves. If you are quiet, and they choose to speak, here is where you will listen to the cats that have left for the Deep Sea and Deeper Sky.

At low tide too, is when you will find the Pools, easy hunting for fish that have trapped themselves until the water returns. You’ll share the space with others picking over what the sea leaves behind. From the crabs (looking for smaller fish and beachkill) to the gulls (looking for the crabs - and anything else they can find) all the way to the kangaroos working their way through the seaweed.

Cats here tend towards dilute, sandy browns and golds. Whitespotting is common, especially on the bellies and paws.

「Notes」I would like to have my cats transfered to lineart when possible (in my 5th post iirc), and I agree to the terms of service!

After claiming their territory, Meteorfall would spend most of their time organizing and cleaning the claimed territory. They carefully covered the tree's branches with soft material so cats would be able to comfortably sleep there, they made two holes inside of the tree's trunk - one for food and one for herbs - they could perfectly picture their future healer carefully picking and organizing the herbs they would gather, they could vividly picture their camp full of felines living their lives, a place they would call home.
But those were only dreams, Meteorfall would need more cats to have an actual clan, but they didn't know how to get more cats to join, so they prayed to the same stars that guided them to help them out. And the next morning, they woke up with a robust but slender cat curiously sniffing their tree. Meteorfall treated the supposed invader not with hostility, but with open paws and an enormous willingness to talk to them. They learned the loner was simply curious about the tree, and had spent their whole life wandering around with no place to stay permanently. Meteorfall invited the wanderer to join them and help them build their group, the wanderer, although not used to staying in a place for more than a couple of nights, was curious about what that "Lightwalkers" thing would become, and happily accepted Meteorfall's offer.
"Do you have a name?"
"Basalt."
"That's a nice name, Basalt. You seem like a very crafty and wise cat, I'd love to welcome you in my territory as the second member of the Lightwalkers, for that, I shall give you your Lightwalker name - from now on you'll be called Basaltspots!"
