Moon 4
--The introduction of Pineneedle. At first, they were a wanderer through the abandoned Twoleg town. Their group was small, and flighty, and it was as soon as Twoleg activity started to pick up that their old group bolted. Pine, however, felt some sort of attachment to what they considered home, and stuck around. On a whim, Midnightstar was taking a pre-dawn stroll through the reviving town, and caught the glimpse of Pine's bright pelt. Midnightstar approached the young cat, offering them a place in the clan. Pine was hesitant at first, untrusting that these cats would stay, but eventually their magnetic pull and curiosity brought them into the healer role.

--Bugpaw and Brookpaw are energized at the thought of almost being done with their training. There seems to be a small rift coming between the pair and their other brother, Birdpaw left feeling forgotten by his siblings even though he's only one moon behind them. It makes him feel unmotivated, something that even Chickadeesong can't seem to shake the young cat out of. It's Pineneedle, another newcomer who is also unsure of her place and felt forgotten by her family that seems to get Birdpaw out of his unmotivated stupor. The pair share a bond about being forgotten and feeling abandoned, each coming up with ideas that eventually makes Birdpaw realize he needs to have a genuine heart to heart with his littermates before the rift grows further apart and he loses his family for good - something he realizes he never wants, not after being separated from his parents and Hazelpaw.

--Cocoastep makes an appearance in the TwilightClan area, having a predictable schedule in which he sits by the Moonstream and watches the birds every evening as dusk approaches. Usually, the TwilightClan cats left him alone, realizing he wasn't hunting and was truly enjoying the area, but eventually they decide they should not let strangers do whatever they want near the territory; especially somewhere that the cats of TwilightClan frequent. With Snowpetal by her side, Midnightstar sets off to approach the tom. What they find is a cat bigger than they expected, Midnightstar almost finding herself intimidated by the tom's scowl, but the fear is quickly replaced by relief as she realizes Cocoa was hoping they would approach him eventually. He was intrigued by clan life, seeing how easily they manevoured around the Twoleg activity, and sought a position among the clan before Midnightstar could even ask. The leader found herself wanting to have this tom by her side, not only for what seemed like his calm intelligence, but also, if she was being honest, for his intimidation factor. Not long after joining, Cocoastep is promoted to clan deputy. Snowpetal narrows her eyes at the decision at first, though the slight betrayal she felt is soon replaced when she realizes that Cocoastep was the right choice.

As she looked over her surroundings she accidentally bumped into the side of a wasp's nest, and that small bump was enough to agitate the whole hive. tragedy strikes. As Puff attempted to catch a small fish, he lost his balance, falling into the
water. He drowned before the patrol could save him...

Hunting (Nightfall's patrol); Nightfall's patrol catches x2 rats! Unfortunately,
Elmwing was attacked by a vicious rogue, who scented the prey. The others were quickly
alerted by the sound of Elmwing's screams, and they managed to pull the rogue off and
chase it away. Elmwing was severely injured, the left side of his face completely torn off
and destroyed. He lost both of his ears and his eye on his left side, rendering him completely
deaf and half-blind. He will require 3 moons of rest, x2 cobwebs, and x1
therapist willow bark.

Patrolling (Aristaeus' patrol); Aristaeus' patrol encounters the predator, which turns
out to be a small dog. The patrol chases it off, but Polly receives a scratch which ends up
infected. She will require one moon of rest and x1 chevil.

Patrolling (Rainstorm's patrol); Rainstorm's patrol encounters the predator, which turns
out to be a fox. The patrol manages to chase it off, but Sorrel is killed in the fight...

and act unlike herself. She was dehydrated due to shying away from every water source, and the
drooling got worse. Adia started to snap at cats and become more aggravated, her clanmates
scared of what happened to her. After she was put in the medicine cat's den, Hollowsong
found Adia dead, foam coming out of her mouth.
