Ya got me! Say hello to Orchid:


He's a laid back guy who LOVES to sleep in and relax as much as he can!
The sound of rain is his favorite thing and he has a soft, warm personality. :)

Just adding that everyone did great guessing this year! I didn't hide many hints this time around but I hope you all had fun regardless.

Orchid is absolutely stunning! He's definitely my favourite so far, I love the pose!

I had suspicions that the winky-face after every mention of what color the pup's eyes were meant we couldn't SEE the eyes... but I'd already guessed different artists for both blinky dogs, so I missed the mark!

I absolutely love Orchid! So cuddly-looking.
Honestly I just want to pile up this year's staff litter and take a nap with them. We'll have to be very careful with some of them, of course, but...still cuddly!

i dont post on threads much anymore but i have got to pop in and say this is absolutely one of my all time favourite pets !! the edits are amazing, the colours work so well together and it's so unique but still works with the chicken smoothie artstyle so well !!

We played a little brainteaser on Discord to figure out Raire’s pup’s name. At the beginning, we didn’t know that was what it would be. Here is the brainteaser:

It's nothing that will help you figure out which pup is mine, which is why I gave the Discord crew this little brainteaser. Other than that, I never share hints/solutions on Discord. =)

As much as I love that idea, I think that we should keep it to this one pet since the edit was made for the staff litter c:

It hasn’t been unheard of that a Staff artist decide to reuse the lineart in the future, Tyr did it with their 2012 Griffin!



We see this lineart being used again in the 2013 Slumber Party:




They also reuse the dragon dog lineart in 2010’s Staff litter and the Fluffy dog lineart in 2011’s staff litter:

With that being said, I think as long as the artist is willing to make more with that pose, then there’s always a slimmer of hope that we’ll see the lineart again! In this case, I’m REALLY hoping for more of these cutie pies, I love it to bits <3!!!
