Eeee more people yay!

I'm collecting casually!

I don't have much opportunity to get more / not a fan of a lot of them but I love my plushies that I got.
Always up for more red foxes when they're available, pretty emotionally linked to them for a couple reasons

With me right now I got

Raymond - pig who was my first plushie in memory
Squiddy - giant squid who I never named properly
4 red foxes, all very different (one of them isn't named yet, I struggle with names)
fluffy dromaeosaurid (unnamed still)
and an eagle and a woodpecker who my nan got me
(and a little among us plague doctor)

Most of my plushies are gifts, I only bought the dino with my own money, I bought him from a friend who was re-homing

and man I could tell ya a story about my bear I got, Berry I got him from an Ambulance when i got the croupe and have had him since I was 4 and hmmm yeah were pretty sure he is haunted.....

hello everyone i am bloodclot and i .. kind of collect plushies.

i feel im too old for that , but it brings me comfort still.

i don't have much to spend on them these days, but ill always buy a cute one when i see one haha.. neeed that sushi squishmellow now....
i have a collection of dragons! one with two heads, a small one, a tybabies one. i have a collection of little tybaby bears, theres a pink one, a black one, and a brown one!! i loveee them so much!
i have a mushroom pillow from five below, it has pastel mushrooms on it that says stay groovy, not exactly a plushie but i count it!
my favorite plushie is a little purple turtle i have and he has suppppppperrrr long legs lol!!! i bring him everywhere i go.

my bed is full of miscellaneous plushies. i have a huge leopard to snuggle with, and a cat in a squid costume squishmallow. they will always be my children

I hope it's okay to post my collection, along with some pics! I love talking about my plushies! <3

My biggest collections are Siamese Cats,Squishmallow octopi (along with other squish but octopi are my favorites), Christmas Trees, and I have a slowly growing tiger collection as well now. I also just have a ton of really cute ones I received as presents, or I liked them enough to buy myself!

The Siameses are the most special, my Papa had several Siamese cats (Trinket, Tillie, Truman, Trixie, Tuck, Taco Bubby, and Siam), so the plushies are like a way to connect to him and remember him now since he passed (I don't mean to be depressing)
Plus I just think Siamese cats are gorgeous too! I haven't done a count of them in a hot minute, but it's quite a lot (not including some duplicates of certain ones). These three are my very favorite ones! Left to right is Tammy, Trinket, and Taco <3

I have around 100 different squishmallows, but around 45 of them are the octopi. I use to be able to set up my octo collection neatly & display them for a picture, but I have so many and some of them are kinda massive (behold the amazing GARY, he's so big that my phone wouldn't focus lol)
This is a pic from several months ago, it took forever to set them up like this and I haven't attempted it since cx These four, along with these three are my favorites!

I love tiger plushies too, but I'm trying to be incredibly picky about which ones I get! This lil one is my favorite tiger, and one of my absolutely favorite plushies in general! His name is Strawberry Clover! He's basically always the one I hold at night while I sleep <3 He's a Jellycat Taylor Tiger (the little size)! I want a big one someday though!!

I highly recommend Jellycat toys in general! Very pricey, but 100% quality and care in their plushies! It's really hard for me to not buy the entire selection! But I'm trying to be really choosy since they are expensive!

I'd like to apologize for my messy bed too, I just like sleeping with my stuffed animals, I love them so. But amazingly, I do have enough room to sleep (with room to move around too), but probably because I'm 5' 1" and 95 pounds lol

I took a glance at the Douglas plush collection (especially the dogs like you mentioned), and wow!! I want so many!! I have a couple of Douglas Siamese/Himalayan cats, and Chase the Border Collie though! They have a wonderful quality feel to them, and their fur is so soft! <3 Gotta resist the urge purchase as many as I can!!

Sorry for the kinda long post, plushies are a topic I'm passionate about! ^^ I enjoyed reading through everyone else's posts, hopefully more people will join!! <3

1st lol no worries for long post, I'm sure on a forum like this it is to be expected or commimg across some wont be a surprise 😉

Also I don't know if I've ever heard of Jelly Cat plush I will have to look into them, and My Sister loves squishMallow's too she has a giant Dinosaur one! and my daughter has 2 on her bed, a purple owl and a blue duck with a pink hat and a candy Cane...Cane lol.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, and no worries some stories very well could include some heavy tails but all are welcome. Siamese are super cute! I had 1 and a snow shoeing for a bit very sweet cat's (I will admit after experiencing owning cat's I think I much rather plush 😅 I'm finding out I prefer plush over the real thing in regards to alot of pet animals)

Yeah Douglas plush are very nice and well made! I've decided once I achieve Out Back I'm gonna work hard to create my own (I am stocking up on high quality Fabric similar to Douglas's). I am hopeing to post pics of my most favorite one's soon!

I never seen those dinos before but they're really cute! Would definitely have if I found any,,

And your bear story reminds me of something;
I have a yellow sauropod plushie with green back spots, his name is Banane and he went hospital with me when I got eye surgery when I was little. Still has a medical tag with his name on around his neck, I had one around my wrist with my name.

My cat's name was Berry before we adopted her

No worries! and yea a old/ex friend of mine collected those dino's when he was younger, we used to play with them all the time, and my grandma would spuratticly get them for my sister and I (I think we each had two all together lol)

and aww your Sauropod sounds adorrable! I like how he still has the hospital thing on him!

I believe it to be a good name lol, my Bear Berry even had a pet dog named Blue Berry (Shiny blue Gund little puddle's plush) I lost him and his sister Grape (purple non shiny one) years ago, I shall for ever be in search of them! Lol

And yes losing plushies is terrible, not a plushie but I remember having this tiny glass parrot figure and one day it disappeared, I was upset for ages about it, I still miss him.
