sorry, it wasn't today, but i was pondering upon a post on this thread a day ago and never made it.
well, i was visiting this alley cat that looked super clean, super small, and she was very friendly. i fed her once before because i always saw her out in the alley and was afraid she might get wonder off if not fed and get lost, but one day we came to the conclusion that it was definitely fed. she hadn't eaten all of the food from the can i left from nights ago, and she was incredibly clean.
me and my friends were out in the alley and the cat was at the end, we could see its little white figure from far away, it was splottered with brown too. like a standard issue cat ! we went to the end of the alley way to say hi to her. as she kept flopping on the ground, at first i thought, a lot of cats do this, but for some reason, i feel bad for this one.. it deserves to flop on a night cozy bed, or a human even. she was so soft and pet-able, and all she wanted was attention and to spread her scent on us.
as we were playing with the cat this guy came out of the house by the end of the alley way and said hey. without any more word he grabbed the cat, and said thanks guys. and walked away. we got up, a little shocked, and kept walking . i was more thankful than anything that this cat actually had humans.
the guy came out of the house and told us he is always afraid of snatching him up, and i understood that. i told him i was actually glad to see he had a home, i myself was worried for this cat. there were baby cats living in the fence line on that alley way, there were cat remains behind my house. i have two cats (two too many) and always worry about them escaping. even if they did, i would worry to heck for them outside, maybe i just love my cats too much
this cat clearly owned that alley. and that person. what a spoiled cute little brat!
