Valentine is Clary's father, Jonathan appeared for the first time in season 2 episode 11 as Sebastian Verlac, but later on I can't remember what episode it was revealed in Shadowhunters TV series when he appeared as Jonathan. I've watched so many Television serieses over the years that they have blurred together.
