Mayia stepped away from Vistrana as she came closer. Hunter kept close to Mayia, and as Vistrana brought her hand close, Hunter narrowed his eyes and turned up his nose. Hunter wasn't like a dog or a most domestic wolf. He was still a wild animal, but acted more majestically than any of the wolves that were in his former pack. Hunter looked back at Mayia again, a more audible growl on his throat. Mayia knelt down to him and listened to the patterns in his voice before looking up at Vistrana. "... I-I'm sorry, but Hunter doesn't want you to come close..." And neither do I... She said cautiously before finishing her message in her mind. Hunter still stood between Mayia and the others. He was very protective over Mayia in most senarios. He didn't have enough information of the others to even allow himself to come close to them. With all the betrayal that they had witnessed and experienced, neither Mayia nor Hunter were trusting of humans.

((I think I'm invisible... xD))
Lacy on May 23rd and 27th wrote:Adrian Mallobourne of Albava
As Ero spoke, Adrian picked up the sincerity in his voice, and although Adrian - of course - hardly trusted the other man as of yet, slowly withdrew his fingers from the blades. He felt they should at least listen to what the stranger had to say, especially now that the elf pulled back his hood, revealing himself truthfully to the others. An eyebrow was raised at this revelation, but not much else. Sure, Adrian was definitely surprised to see an elf in this city, much less be called to help one, but he held no personal concern to be around them. Besides, it was three against one at the moment.
"Hmm, Ero..." Mallobourne simply echoed the name as if it were a good enough reply, watching closely as Clara suddenly stepped forward. He listened as she bluntly questioned the other young man, wondering about the answers as well. However, when she seemed to become a little too defensive, he took a step forward and placed a hand on her arm. Saying nothing to her, he glanced at Ero. "And I am Adrian of Albava.
"Trust us if you wish, but I hope you understand our reasoning for being... careful," he spoke, releasing his light grip of the girl's arm. Adrian didn't want her to get them in any trouble if it wasn't necesary, even though he was practically scepticism's number one fan. "As for your elf friend..." he continued, "Our guild has banded together to fight for the oppressed, and there's not much honor in turning our backs on someone in need of our help." Adrian practically was saying this to Clara - as he was sure making the excecutive decision to help the stranger would need an explanation - but remained focussed on the elf. "Explain how we can assist you, and we shall try our best."

Daeron watched Mayia and her wofl intently. Certainly he was mistaken, for between this animal and girl was the strongest bond of friendship he had ever seen. Perhaps animals, without deciet, without schemes of their own, were more trustworthy than humans, who always look out for themselves. But can an animal be completely tamed? He asked himself. In answer he murmured Or is it a question of earning trust? Realizing he had spoken aloud, he glanced around guiltily. Still, it is an animal. Nothing more. He thought firmly, keeping quiet in the shadows.

Hunter blinked, his ear twitching. Mayia noticed this immediately and tapped Hunter on the head, frightening him a little. "Shh..." Mayia said, nearly pleading to Hunter, but he just continued to glare towards Daeron. It took a moment, but Hunter backed down, nudging Mayia slightly to get her to follow him a little further back into the barn. Hunter began to growl a little, a worried expression on Mayia's face. "But-" He continued to growl, cutting Mayia off. "Hunter... Please. I just can't handle this. Please don't make me do this..." Mayia said lowly as she went about two meters away from the others. Hunter abruptly stopped, then hit his tail against Mayia's leg, frightening her in return. With a sigh, Mayia turned away from Hunter, trying to avoid looking at anyone. The little patterns in Hunter's voice told Mayia that he wasn't going to let her leave like this. She was being pursued by a few people anyway, so having others with more fighting experience would help. Hunter wasn't about to let Mayia die this way, when she hated herself for so much.

Ero
Ero smiled slightly at Adrian's words. He understood completely why the strangers would be wary of his presence. Elves were considered bad luck to common townspeople. He regarded the three with keen, gray blue eyes. They certainly didn't seem like ordinary townspeople. They were armed, he could tell, and by the way they moved, he could tell they were all skilled with the weapons they weilded. "I understand. I'm glad that my friend has a keen way of finding trustworthy compainions." He fondled Pita's neck affectionately, and once more, his gaze fell on the other boy's bird. The smile on his face widened. Maybe that was why Pita had decided to trust them. Keeping a bird required a special touch. Someone calm and controlled. He shrugged inwardly. Right now, he had to stay focused. "Right...well...I have no idea where she is located...but I have a feeling that she is being held by mages." He paused, mentally grimacing.
"Magic is a tricky subject. It's hard to fight, and conteract. Do any of you know about magic? If so...that would be a great help if we're to rescue my friend." Ero shifted uncomfortably, rubbing his neck. He didn't want to send these strangers into a dangerous situation for his sake. He bit his lip, his strange gaze shifting from one to another.
Hello there.
I'm incredibly sorry for my disappearence from this website, but I have had NOOOO time to do things like this. XD I've been so busy. But some of my activities will slow down come Winter, so I think I'll be able to come back. But there's one problem. This account is REALLY cluttered.
I hate having 43 pages of pointless/dead roleplays and things. And I've let it sit inactive for a while, so it is kind of pointless. I'm hopefully going to have the same username, so come friend me! :"D

(( Don't forget about Vethro! ))
Vethro narrowed his eyes. "Um, Mayia, there's a wolf next to you. Don't let it eat you."
He spoke the obvious. Slowly, with carefull moves, Vethro bent down and picked up his fallen sword. His eyes locked on the wolf, and as he straightened up, he slid his sword into it's sheath with a hiss.
Even though his weapon was put away, Vethro still grasped it's hilt.
