finally reading the Lunar Chronicles (its a HUGE series the book are almost an inch thick) and. Captain Carswell Thorne. He has literally committed so many crimes (mostly theft but he did abandon his post while in the military leaving like 20 folks to die) but he is just,,, a little guy. yeah he's arrogant and annoying sometimes but he has a good heart!! spoilers: [color=#transparent]after he goes blind i feel like we start seeing the softer, more fearful 12 year old boy in him and its bittersweet but like. he's tiny baby. only 1/4 through Cress though so i hope he gets his eye sight back </3[/color]

OH and then there's Wolf. dear stars, i love him. poor guy he is so sad and pitiful but him and Scarlet are meant to be i hope they are both okay </3</3 like yeah he murdered some people and kind of did a lot of morally wrong stuff BUT he was being brainwashed and id die for him anyways <3<3

also as a self-indulgent thing,,, Thorn and Lulu from my personal writing <3 Thorn has only ever attempted murder but he's also traumatized to the max and partially controlled by some old creepy guy so he is struggling

then there's Lulu... she has over 100 confirmed murders, will happily admit to any of them, and is extremely proud of the, albeit horrific, name she's made for herself. she's her world's version of army and has been killing since 16 and actually enjoys killing people which is really concerning but she does it for her family (mostly her daughters lol) soooo silver lining??? even though she's literally a serial killer i still would put myself in the line of fire for her because i love her sm <3<3<3
