He did, his death didn't qualify as heroic, and I seriously doubt John would ever be deserving of a just death. Vriska on the other hand is a different story. A stab in the back isn't exactly heroic, but since Terezi killed her for the sake of herself and Karkat, I could possibly see the argument for just, even if Vriska led Jack to them unintentionally.
Then again when it comes to Hussie I've learned never make assumptions and just wait.
