DAY SEVEN HAS STARTED!As the sun begins to rise, Benji takes a moment to appreciate that they all made it out of the night in one piece. He still had no clue what happened or who saved them from the sea beast, but he knew he was thankful to live another day.
Turning to his companions, Benji went around the crowd checking in on everyone. After it was confirmed everyone was unharmed, and the sea beast wasnt anywhere in sight, the tension faded from the crowd and goobies began busying themselves with their respective jobs or activities.
Benji thought for a moment about what he could do to occupy himself and his friends. He looked up at the sky, trying to think, when he realized that the ship had lost its flag in the chaos of the night before. All that remained was a tattered shred of cloth barely holding on to the splintered mast.
Benji perked up, getting an idea.
"You know, this ship is really in need of a makeover after last night. Why dont we spend today fixing it up a bit? Besides, we'll be reaching the island soon! We should have a party to celebrate! And whats a party without decorations?"Today's prompt is
decorate !

entry: Fidd was one of the goobies in the crew. His mood lightened up when Benji proposed the idea to redecorate the ship. To him, it sounded like the perfect activity to get everyone's morale back up. Fidd was not the most artistic in the crew but was determined to do everything he could to help. His mind raced with lots of ideas from creating a new flag out of scrap cloth sewn together to using shells as ship decoration. Of all the ideas he had, the one that he was proudest of and struck the crew the most is to use bioluminescence to create ship decoration. Since he himself has bioluminescent parts, he knew the subject very well and knew exactly how he was going to harvest bioluminescent plankton from the ocean. After this was done, he placed them in jars, painted them on shells, illuminated parts of the ship using what seemed to be magical glowing green dust.

Vanir was struck still after all that had happened what seemed like only moments ago. Now the sun was shining, the beast that had appeared so quickly had once again disappeared, and goobies all around him seemed to be trying to return to normality, doing their assigned jobs and such.
Raising his head to look at Benji as he started speaking, Vanir started to get inspired by his words, nodding his head in agreement.
"Yes! I think decorating and trying to fix what we can will keep up busy! and hopefully a bit more cheerful!
He smiled and set about gathering mismatched bits of cloth, sewing them together to - tada !!! create a whole new flag for their ship.
It may only be temporary, but it would work for now!
After making the flag he set about helping others clean up the deck, brushing away all signs of the attack.

Fay was exhausted after the ordeal. She would have enjoyed some nice rest but she knew the ship needed fixing before anything else. Fay went here and there and tried to help others, but she barely knew anything about fixing a ship. 'I don't know what needs fixing but maybe I should decorate the ship to brighten the mood.' Using the leftover rope, paint and wood scraps she started to craft decorations. Some time passed and she finally admired at her own work. 'Now, this is starting to look like a party!':
Have a wonderful day :)======================

Decorating, yes that was something that Daith could do. He wasn't exactly the kind to decorate for parties persay, but he of course knew his way around decorating a room- or in this case a boat- and making things look nice. He decided he'd add things as he went along and looked over the ship, doing a sort of dual-task of looking over the ship and fixing whatever issues he saw, and decorating as he was asked. He leaned towards a color palette of silvers and blues, placing small shell-stars on some areas of the ship and using the scraps of what was his mermaid-based outfit as part of the decor. It was unfortunate that his outfit that he had made was ruined, but it wasn't as if he was going to wear it again anytime soon if at all, so what was the harm in using it for something that would bring joy to more goobies? He wasn't sure if he'd participate in a party, Daith wasn't exactly the partying type, but even if he passed on the celebration aspect, he wanted to be helpful in the preparations.

entry: Jason was admittedly thrown as he was asked to help decorate. As a pirate, after all, one did not exactly have their own space unless they were the captain! And on land, well, he really didn't own much and just went wherever Selia and Sherry did. So how did one decorate anyways? He watched the rest of the crew for a time, gears turning, before with a nod he set to work. Had to work with what the ship had right?
Bits of scrap fabrics were sewn together to create decorative animal shapes. He tried to make them look like sharks, but they looked more like guppies! These he placed wherever he could, attached by a few random shells. Ropes were braided into little ribbon shapes, and he made a few more fabric guppies for those as well. Finally, he used a few spare belt buckles. Bending these into cute little star shapes, he poked them about in various locations where the light would catch them.
There, festive! Or close enough.

Decorating? I did not have much to work with for making decorations, admittedly. Besides, there were repairs that needed to be made, and I was reluctant to use anything that might be needed for that to create decorations. Until I got an idea. Maybe I could combine the repairs with decorations! I quickly gathered some rope, as well as a bunch of seaweed that must have ended up on the ship during the storm, and began tying the seaweed onto the rope to make it look like a decoration. Then, I carefully tied the rope 'decorations' around anything that needed the extra support. Hmm, not a bad start, I thought. But what else could I do? As I continued working on repairs, I tried to think of more ideas to make the ship look festive. Well, there was the flag which needed to be replaced... Maybe I could paint something on it. I found some paint and a paintbrush and got to work, trying to recreate the beautiful sunrise we had just witnessed. Somehow, it felt fitting to put a reminder of that sunrise on the flag; hopefully it would fill the crew with hope throughout the rest of the journey. When I was finished painting, I carefully replaced the tattered remains of the old flag with the new one.
Seeing there was still some rope left over after the repairs were finished, I decided to use it to make some more decorations, and tied colorful bits of fabric to it at equal intervals. Then I tied the rope along the sides of the ship. Perhaps these were not exactly 'typical' decorations, but I liked how they turned out.
Despite everything,

Heya, I'm Eevee!
Thank you so much to twinkle! for the adorable avatar!
It's still you.

Luna was sitting by himself, hands neatly folded in his lap, the origami paper squares situated in his lap. He peers up periodically to watch Benji and the crew tying up all manner of decor to the ship, which is in sore need of some positive attention. Colorful ropes are wound around its masts and railings, ribbons draping with elegant royal blues and gold trim. Balloons are being inflated by an eager and lively Vaughn, who Luna swears always has capacity in his lungs one way or another...
Luna sighs softly, glancing back down at his lap where he's delicately folding the paper into a little sea monster. Mending the spikes, he's doing his best to make each origami piece to assemble into his creation. It isn't much... at least, in his opinion it isn't, but origami is the only way Luna knew how to decorate. He's tall, but not particularly strong-- not hardy enough to climb the masts and weave the heavy colored chords like Benji-- nor with enough stamina to bellow air into the balloons like Vaughn. His own unique skills were more subdued. As the crew laughed and talked, Luna sat quietly and focused on making a sea serpent out of delicate paper squares to put on its front, a navy and gold sea serpent statuette to gaze out at the hopeful island beyond.
