Scarf said he was up for the role actually. And Matt was up to be Sherlock. Now, I can picture Benedict Cumberbatch as the Doctor, but I cannot picture Matt as Sherlock. Matt's too...Childish? Squirrelly? Something like that.

Mhm. I agree, it would be wonderful to see him as the Doctor, and i think you're right, matt Smith seemes to childish and over-exagerated to play a down to earth role like Sherlock. I'm sure he is just a good actor, but I could never imagine him in such a sombre role.

And I've had a long term relationship with Sherlock. (I've loved him for...8 years? More that that maybe.) Matt might have annoyed me as Sherlock. I'm fussy about things related to Sherlock Holmes.
