Ash stared right back up at Cyd, looking deep into her eyes, able to see rather far, further than anyone could see on herself. "You won't find anything in my eyes... The world has been too cruel..." she murmured softly, her voice no longer hard and icy, but instead rather airy and distant. She was interested by Cyd, but she knew better than to get her hopes up of ever finding the thing she so desired; love.

Kijana....

"Wait... what.. Um... Alright, I can do that." Kijana says to Marle, not really sure what was going on but hoping he would know when the time was right. After that, he saw Elenwen head off to another direction. Thinking she was heading towards the town, Kijana followed not really paying attention to anyone else, although he believed he saw Will go far into the woods for a second and it looked like he had found someone but by that time, Kijana was to far away to see who or what was happening.

Elenwen turned around when someone called her name. She recognized the boy, she had brought him here... it had been an accident, she didn't know what had happened but she was sorry for what she did "I-I'm sorry, I never meant to bring you here, I didn't mean to take you away from your home." she said hurriedly, most of the things she sommoned, if they followed her it was to kill her. When he asked what was wrong though, her thoughts changed "I-I had a vision... the-the murders," she image flashed before her eyes again, snarling teeth, blood, flesh. She winced, putting a hand to her head "He... It isn't human."

Will gave Elenwen a strange look when she said it wasn't human. What else would it be? He assumed that inculded elves and humanoids. What was it if not that, a wolf couldn't sneak into a building and be smart enought murder without a trace, suddenly the thought hit him, not human, not wolf... Both. "The wolf man!" Will shouted, he had heard old legends of the wold man in these parts, he was said to be called Witherfang. Witherfang had been gone for many years now, his dreaded werewolf kin as well... was the curse back?

Alhar glared at the Dragonkin, raising his sword over her shoulder. "I would advise you to put her down!" he hissed, he didn't want his new found friend to get hurt. Why would this Dragonkin need the wizards help "What do you want the wizard for?" Alhar asked, they had been the only ones caught by the necromancer, why was the dragonkin seeking the same thing as her?

Marle

Marle frowns at Will's explanation. "Please tell me you aren't suggesting Witherfang did this." Marle had heard of Witherfang from a group of travelers he aided when wolves attacked them a few years ago. They said that they had angered him and that is why the wolves hunted them so. The leader of the group told him the legend of Witherfang and how he had been a curse upon Himmathar. A few days after he had departed the group, he found them dead. Torn asunder by a creature that could not have been a mere wolf. Marle had never found a creature capable of creating the wounds he'd seen. They were horrific. If Witherfang were real, and he were hunting here, then they would have a true challenge ahead of them.

"I am not suggesting that anyone did this, but that doesn't keep romurs from wandering the town." Will answered calmly, putting his hands up in defense. He hated to admit it but the rumors sounded more true then any explantions the other guards gave did. He had heard of wolf men in these parts before and it was possible that the curse might have started again, he hated to think about what might happen if it did. The last curse had ended around the time him and Elenwen had been born. It had been a terrible thing, Will shivered at the thought of the carnage that it still lift today.

Elenwen was in to good a mood to listen to all this depressing talk, she didn't want her terrible time back home to start before she had even entered the city. She looked to the couple of people that didn't seem to be paying attention to Marle and Will's conversation. "Come on," she whispered walking slowly towards the town and hoping that Will and Marle would fail to notice her absence "Let's head into town." she began to walk off down the path, humming a little to herself.

Ayra looks between Elenwen and Marle, not quite sure who to follow. She can tell that Marle held the thought of the werewolf attacking to be grim news. She would rather not know just how grim it was. Choosing ignorance she decides to follow Elenwen. "So what fun things are there to do here?" She had no idea what to say to the woman she just wanted some conversation not involving things liable to kill her.

Marle

Marle places his hands on his head. "Assuming this is some animal, or someone masquerading as an animal. There would be some trigger that motivated it to select its targets. Vengeance, hunger, lust. We can use that to our advantage. Is there somewhere that we could set a trap. An open area that would favor an attacker if the prey were alone?" Marle had an idea but Ayra really wasn't going to like it.

Elenwen shifted through the trees, the gates right ahead. She followed the strange enchanting music that was characteristic the gypsies. She hummed a little, singing the song that went with the tune. "Well, there are gypsies just ahead, this is a huge gathering and stopping place for us. I might be able to meet someone I know here." she said with a smile, even if the people here did hate her, this place and the mists were the only two she would ever call home.

Will shook his head "I told you; there is no pattern to the attacks, the thing just seems to be hungry!" Will shouted, the desperation of the situation finally getting to him. He was supossed to protect these people and there was nothing he could do. The beast just attack whatever it could find, killing in the center of the town, the edges, a man, a woman, a child, an elder. There was no pattern it was just an animal's insinct to feed.
