Hearing the female protest, Matsumura finally released his grip before landing back on the ground. He gave her another angry growl demanding an apology from her and his shell back. He quickly started coming up with a plan just in case she escaped; bigger creatures tend to have a bigger advantage in escaping from smaller creatures like him. At first, he moved to her hands and sniffed her hand that hid away his gift from that faun as a way to gesture his true intention. Then all that innocent intention was wiped away when he stared right into her eyes that speak: "you'll lose more than just an ankle if you don't give back my stuff. Running away is no longer an option when one of your ankles is gone." He gave her some to reconsider her action, or maybe just return his shell to him.

You want this," she continued to taunt and held the shell high in the air. But there was a menacing gleam in the creature's eyes, threatening to attack again. "Okay, fine, fine. You have defeated me valiantly in battle, creature. I shall return your treasure to you as reward," she declared dramatically and opened her palm to the creature. The shell rested in her open hand.
