Hello all! I recently came back from a hiatus in 2018, but before i left i used to have a few hoards i was working on.
I decided to discontinue those hoards and orginally, i wasnt gonna hoard again, but then this summer event came and...Image
I just love the b-wolf token pets SO much that im gonna start hoarding again because of these guys :lol: especially this gaming controller themed one here, imma need at least 50 of these guys just to stare at!

i never hoard anything from summer events but cs finally got to me this time

395 IT tokens (and a few trades) later I now have 3 hoards of these;
completed hoards of 82 reds, 70 greens,
and then an extra 245 in that unlimited group

including the 4 in my collection, this means I now own over 400 of these :thumbup:
i'm not even a robot/cybernetic stuff fan but these look so cool

ok ok I swear I'm done after this!!! but I made. three more summer event hoards before I'm fully satisfied with this event. and I completed em!!

I had a good amount of IT tokens left, but 50 felt like a good number for the robo dogs. So I bought these squids! I still feel like there should've been more IT token trade in pets but,,, it's okay. 15/15!

    Love to see the number of hoards that came out of this event for everyone!
    I personally ended with three, though only two of them are actually pets ^^;
    It doesn't come up as often as I'd like, but I love when I find an item & pet combination that I like hoarding together, so I was very happy when this hoard came together:

What makes you disband a hoard?
Just curious as to people's reasons.

I have a few hoards I was super into but now I'm kinda Meh. I know they are just pixels, but I'm thinking about how much I traded (I tend to overpay a little for hoards I'm super into) and such so I feel weird disbanding something I was so excited for.

been trying to hoard tv rats since they were first released (feb 2015), but after being inactive for so long it’s hard to get things going again ^_^’ i don’t wanna start any more hoards (i got enough stuff going on already lmao), but casually trying to build up my little tv folks again will be nice :^)

I'm currently hoarding three pets that I've taken special liking/interest in since I joined in 2014, no limit set. I usually continue hoards for how long I like and stop when I loose interest. These are my probably permanent ones because I especially enjoy these pets.
My longest going one is active since 2015, featuring the 2013 slumber party raven.

Although I noticed that it's getting incresingly harder to trade for the 2013 Slumber party raven due to it having relatively high demand and getting older each year. I also had a period of inactivity through 2018-2019 where these hoards weren't continued.

I don't hoard a whole lot, but I'd say if you aren't Into them anymore, disband and trade for things you do like or give to people who do want/hoard them. Like you said, they are just pixels.

Sometimes an aesthetic just no longer strikes you. And that's ok! You can always just lt them remain on your account if you're indifferent/set a lower amount to collect. Or trade them for something you currently want, putting them back out into the market <3 (sometimes you can find people who are willing to buy the hoard off you for their own which could be helpful in getting resources back)
