Welcome to Myrefall!

The town of Myrefall is a quaint little place, a happy place far from the hubbub of City Life, where its many residents live happily! Though Myrefall is quite far from most Cities, it doesn't need to be nearby because everyone in the community is happy with the peace that they get. Sure, while they don't normally get many new visitors that often, they do occasionally find new people moving in from far away places to get some peace and quiet.
The town, though pretty small, contains many places! Enough for the residents to live with everything they need. The housing district is to one side, and the plaza is in the centre of the town with the Mayor's Office just next to it. The shopping district is a short walk away, and all sorts of stores can be found there! The locals are friendly, and if you can get along with people then you'll have a good time living there.

Very recently, a new group of people have found themselves at Myrefall. Whether they're moving away from their old City, or finding themselves a new opportunity, they have all ended up in the quaint town and are now learning how to fit in with everyone else.
Is Myrefall everything they wanted it to be? Is there more to this place than meets the eye? The new arrivals will just have to find out.

Appearance: Somewhat tall, standing at about 6’4’’ in height, and not very buff. At first sight, he really isn’t that menacing, that’s for sure. His hair goes past his chin, it’s incredibly messy, and it is black in colour. His eyes are brown and always give away whenever he thinks of dumb plans. The stubble on his face is surprisingly taken care of most of the time, kept short enough but not fully removed because it seems to be part of his looks. His outfit is… Well, the sorta classic criminal style, grey with white stripes. It’s rare to see him wearing anything else.

Personality: Well… He is very complex. Richard is way too outgoing, he always puts himself up for anything he can think of, even if it’s not the best idea. He really doesn’t care about how bad ideas are, happy to make himself do anything he thinks of because funny. Really, he does everything just because he likes being funny. Richard appears to have no sense of self-preservation, he’ll do whatever without caring about the risks. While he normally seems very uncaring about all other people, he does seem to have some ability to form bonds, seeing anyone he’s friends with as part of his odd little ‘family’.

Brief Bio: Richard has always been very mischievous while growing up, removed from several schools multiple times before ending up not going again, living with his family whom he mostly hated. Yeah, not great. He left home as soon as he could, found himself in a relationship, and then left the relationship just as quickly when he realised he preferred being free. He lived in the City for several years, finding his own group of friends and causing chaos, before choosing to leave for Myrefall when he decided that he preferred being somewhere more peaceful. He now spends time causing chaos, living just outside the town in a treehouse, occasionally being visited by his friends whenever they decide to come over.

Role: Myrefall resident. Criminal.
Family: Cool father, boring mother. Older brother whom he quite dislikes. An adopted son and a biological son from an old relationship.
Crush/Relationship: It’s impossible to tell.
Other Info: Despite being so chaotic, he isn’t really a proper criminal, he hasn’t actually done anything that’s seriously bad.

Appearance: Lucas is about 5’9’’ tall, though with his usual stature he appears shorter. His eyes are blue, and his hair is very fluffy and blond, with the fringe normally hiding his right eye. His smile is normally fake, but genuine smiles are easy to recognise. Lucas is normally seen wearing his work uniform, even outside of work. With a short-sleeved shirt (he hates sleeves), an apron, and blue trousers. He always wears his grey boots, even with other outfits. There is a faint scar along his right arm from an injury he received many years ago.

Personality: The blond-haired chef is very nervous, he’s always been that way. Most of the time, he deals with his anxiety from things outside of work, and he spends most of his time hiding in the back doing all of the cooking for orders whenever they come in. Does he get days off? Yeah, of course, his boss loves him! However, he would rather stay in work anyway. Lucas is generally quite the frightful person, even the smallest things can make him jump, but he has been trying his best to control this… It isn’t very successful. However, when he isn’t being jumpy, he is actually very friendly! He’s sweet, and kind, and he loves to do things to make his friends happy.

Brief Bio: Lucas is from the lovely place of the Netherlands! He lived with his family in a smaller town, mostly ignored because his parents had wished for a second boy. He left home at 16 to begin working in a restaurant, transitioning in secret and abandoning his original name, eventually moving far away to Myrefall when he was 22 to avoid his family finding him.
At some point before leaving his home country, something happened that gave him PTSD, but he’s been good at avoiding any triggers and he never needs to talk about it now.

Appearance: He is about 6’5’’ high, taller than most people (or everyone?), but only just shorter than his twin brother. His brown hair is naturally very long, and he is very particular about how long it is kept. Danny has green eyes which can be sparkly when he’s happy, which is generally all the time. He’s a very smiley person. He wears his uniform all the time, even when off-duty, probably because he finds the jacket very cosy and warm and comfortable. He also wears round glasses all the time, because he has bad eyesight.

Personality: Positive to a fault, Danny is normally always seen smiling and happy. It’s a bit infectious, really, especially with him trying to do whatever he can to help cheer everyone else up. He seems way too optimistic, ignoring the bad things happening around him to remain happy and sunny. Yeah, it’s a bit of a problem. However, he seems to rely on his brother for the more serious things. The innocence that Danny seems to have is a bit concerning, he’ll smile through people being mean to him and treat them with the exact same kindness he treats everyone with, it’s a surprise that nothing bad has happened to him yet. Nobody is quite sure about how he is at home, he is surprisingly secretive about things related to his private life, preferring to keep up this act that he’s fallen into of being the happy and kind Officer.

Brief Bio: Coming from Ireland, he moved with his family to a new place at 18 when their parents got themselves new jobs! Both happen to work as police officers, perhaps being the thing that inspired the two twins to become police officers as well. Though Danny had a few issues that his brother didn’t experience, the two somehow managed to finish training together. They originally worked in a big city, with a lot more action and things to do, until one day he decided to move away from there and go to Myrefall where it was less hectic and exhausting. Though Danny said he only wanted a break from the chaos for a little while, he’s been living in Myrefall with his family for several years now.

Other Info: Everyone calls him Danny. It’s surprisingly difficult for people to tell him apart from his twin brother. His family is Jewish, though that isn’t public knowledge, he quietly rejects things that he can’t do or eat and makes excuses a lot of the time. This also means that he is trilingual, speaking English and Irish and Hebrew enough to be fluent in the first two.

Appearance: He wears a blue jacket with 2 orange stripes going horizontally across it, underneath he wears a light-blue shirt, he wears blue trousers and on his head he wears a blue cap with black headphones on it.

Personality: Tom is quite lazy in his ways, and doesn't want to do most things he's told to do, but he does them anyway to prove a point. He's also overconfident in his ways and assumes that he can do everything, despite needing help from others most of the time. He also likes being the one who is laughing at others and not being laughed at, so he tends to try and get in on any joke he can because of how tired he is of being the butt of a joke.

Brief Bio: Tom lived a very eventful life in his home City, living with his friend and going on wacky adventures, however one day he decided that he wanted out, so he opened up an envelope given to him by his grandpa before he passed away, which directed him to go to a far away peaceful location, being Myrefall. Was moving away from all the people he knew and 'loved' a good idea? Only time could tell.

Appearance: Alzedore is your classic old man, he has a long white/grey beard, he wears purple wizard robes and a purple wizard hat and tends to be hunched forward a lot. He's 6'0" tall, although time has made him seem shorter than he actually is. Under his hat he has grey hair, and his eyes are blue.

Personality: Alzedore is an old man who loves magic. Not the "pick a card" type of magic, but actual magic. People tend to call him senile and brush him off when he claims that he can use actual magic, and those that watch to humour him see that he is indeed just going crazy in his old age. Being old, he's also very wise on many subjects, however if it's anything related to magic he seems to know everything you could ever want (and not want) to know. Mystical creatures, strange phenomena and the like are also very strong suits for him. He tends to walk the streets of Myrefall talking to anyone who shows a slight interest in what he knows, although people tend to just ask him questions they want to know instead of having a full on conversation with him.

Brief Bio: Alzedore spent most, if not all of his life in Myrefall. He grew up with a very typical lifestyle. His family weren't rich or poor, so he was well off for his childhood. Ever since he was young, he started reading books and loved them. These books tended to be those books that contain lots of information that most people wouldn't care to read about, however his love for reading grew even more when he started reading books on magic. As he read a lot, he did very well in school, and he got himself a well paying job. Every day, he would read a book or two, and eventually he started spending a lot of his time in the library. When he wasn't at work or sleeping, he would be in the library, reading. He read all kinds of books, and by the time he had retired from his job, he had read every book that the library had to offer. When that happened, he turned back to reading his childhood classics, as well as more books about magic. Obsessed with magic now, he decided that as he had already read every other book, he'd import books on magic to read. When he hit the age of 100, he donated all of his books to the library, and now encourages kids to read a lot as they pass him by while he's on a walk or sitting on a bench.

Other Info: He's lived in Myrefall for his entire life, and he likes going to the library a lot. He also holds the record for longest time having held a Library Pass. Not a single person in the town doesn't know who he is, aside from the newcomers of course.

Appearance: Ezra has short, black hair with a single white streak through it at the front, and is usually tied back into a stubby ponytail - otherwise, it is fluffed out. He has very dark brown eyes, almost black in poor lighting, and a slightly more almond eye shape. Ezra stands at about 6'1", and he has an athletic build with a surprisingly fair amount of muscle that's hidden by his clothing. He has a dark skin tone, and a slightly more rounded, softer face shape, though well-set cheekbones.
Ezra wears semi-formal clothing, usually a dark brown or black shirt and black trousers, and a black peacoat over it.

Personality: Ezra is cold and unsocial. He prefers peace and quiet to being around other people, and is known to work himself a little too hard, rarely willing to take breaks until he is absolutely finished. He has little patience for other people, especially if they annoy him, and will express his distaste for anyone quickly. He's known to be blunt and truthful - if anything, you can definitely count on him to tell you the truth. Although he's bitter at first, those who get to know him and he grows to like will see that he has a friendlier, more pleasant side to him. He is deeply loyal and protective of those he gets close to, but doesn't trust easily at all.

Brief Bio: Ezra's mother is a physicist and his father a biochemist. He also has three siblings, two older and one younger, and has always felt the need to stand out from them. He also has an interest in science, though is unsure as to the area that he'd like to specialise in. Currently, though, he's particularly fond of astronomy and meteorology. He has lived in Myrefall for about three years now, and spends his days in the library or out doing field research, and his nights out on a hill, with his telescope, tracking the stars and hoping to make a brand new discovery. If one were to ask Ezra what he's researching, he'd probably give you a different answer each time - it's been so long, he might have forgotten what he was originally researching - whether it's a thorough history of the town, or plotting a star chart for the town, he can be confusing to say the least.

Appearance: Kendall's hair is black, and currently in several braids with dark purple braided into them, and it reaches their hips. Their eyes are dark brown, with a normal eye shape. Kendall is rather tall, standing at 5'10'', with a more lithe build. They have a diamond sort of face shape, with a notable jawline and slightly wider cheekbones. They have a dark skin tone that is mostly clear, aside from a birthmark on the back of their left shoulder in the vague shape of a heart. They also have a small nose piercing and both their ear lobes are also pierced.
Kendall usually wears casual outfits - a t-shirt and jeans, plus a wool-lined denim jacket over it, and ankle boots, is their go-to.

Personality: Kendall may first appear to be quiet and withdrawn - particularly with new people - but once you get to know them, then you will realise that this is not quite the case. Kendall is very much, in fact, a people-person, and loves meeting new people. They are confident and outgoing, and is usually the one to first start a conversation. However, Kendall is also not afraid to speak their mind... especially to people that are rude to them or ask invasive questions about them. They can also hold quite the grudge against someone that has done them wrong, and is not above giving the cold shoulder when annoyed. They also prefer to think things through and have a solid plan in place, rather than doing things spontaneously, quickly getting anxious if they don't know what the plan is or what is going on. They could be seen as somewhat uptight in this regard, but Kendall does know how to let loose and have fun... provided there's a plan for it.

Brief Bio: Kendall's parents are initially from England, though they moved to the US when Kendall was two, as part of a new business venture. Kendall grew up loving music, swimming, and dance. Kendall also found a love for writing, after working for a school newspaper. They published their first book, Clash at Sunset, a spy novel, at the age of 27, which garnered a decent audience and praised by critics. They're currently writing the sequel to this, as well as working as a journalist for an online magazine. For both parts of their work, Kendall has moved to Myrefall to write an article about one of the town's many, long-tradition events, as well as hoping to find plenty of hidden gems as research and ideas for their next novel. In any case, they're very much looking forward to spending time in the town, even if it is mostly only for work, though does secretly hope to be able to spend longer than initially planned in Myrefall...

Appearance: Cassandra has black, shoulder length hair that is slightly wavy and looks as though a fan is lightly blowing through it. Her eyes are unusual, having hetrochromia - her left eye is dark green, and her right eye is light blue - and they have a slight almond eye shape to them. She stands at 5'4", so she's fairly short, and she has a more stocky, though still athletic, build. She has a heart face shape, with a sharp jawline, and a fair skin tone. She often wears blue and black or purple and black eyeshadow, and black lipstick.
Cassandra usually wears a light grey, long t-shirt, and black jeans, with a black, waterfall-style loose jacket, plus calf-height black boots with a slight heel, and dark sunglasses - if she's outside.

Personality: Cassandra is a fairly quiet, though still friendly, person. She won't start up a conversation, but doesn't mind someone else approaching her. She gives off a bit of a mysterious aura, as though there's something she's hiding. She also seems to have the skill to just appear and disappear while no one's looking. One moment she's there... then you turn away and look back to find that she's gone - though this is only because, as friendly as she is, doesn't really like to be around people too much, and will take any opportunity to fade into the background again. Don't take her to be meek, though, as Cassandra will show she has a sharp, more prominently confident, side to her towards anyone that is rude or otherwise disagreeable. She's also an honest person - for the most part. She doesn't like to tell people where she lives or what she does, but for almost everything else, she'll give it to you straight.

Brief Bio: Cassandra arrived in Myrefall about five years ago. Inheriting an old, shut down and fenced-off, historical pub building, Cassandra quietly moved in with zero fanfare and without even really introducing herself or being made known to the other residents. However, since it had been many, many years since anyone had even stepped foot in the seemingly abandoned pub, when movement was heard coming from the building, and a mysterious shadow passing by the windows, the residents of Myrefall began suspecting that it was haunted by a ghost - a rumour that is now very prominent, and no one has dared go near the building now. Cassandra has spent the years she's been here trying to renovate and live in the place on her own, having the plan to turn it into a small event venue while she lives above it.
