What are the guidelines for fairness if trading freebie pets for token pets? Would 3 freebies for a token be enough or is that under/overpaying?

There's not really any set guidelines or anything. It's just up to you and your trading partner to decide what's fair.

Do you mean how many tokens are needed for all the trade in outcomes? If yes then check out the outcomes thread, they list every token pet and their token price, and just do the math (expecting either really good rng or swapping extra outcomes for the needed ones so that there is no extra tokens needed). I've noticed that usually we need 14-15 regular tokens and 3-5 banner tokens per full trade-in litter

the adult green snake is in the it office. it comes out of the same box you get hourly tokens out of. it's a random chance of getting a pet instead of a token.
