Joystick and Solar are chilling. Solar is doing really cute kitten stuff and is loving Joystick's company. Flicker watches from a distance. "Their relationship has really evolved in this past moon." He says, then mutters about some other stuff, probably herbs.
Clunk, plomp, kitty is now on top of the ddr machine. Flicker is confusion and very protective, Joystick comes over but leaves Solar behind. They've never seen an alien- I mean oriental cat before and freak out. Note that they can only see half of their body bc its dark and they're half black half blue.
The cat is very friendly and they do some stuff then Joystick the pushover is like "ok u can join our clan" hooray!!!
Joystick is out looking for Lunar when she picks up a strange scent, she follows it, and finds this feral looking cat who stares Joystick down. Joystick almost pees herself.
The cat doesn't talk but they look friendly enough for Joystick to lead him back home and join the clan, under the name Whistle bc she doesn't know his old name. Whistle and Joystick interact a lot over the next couple of days, and their trust grows to the point where Whistle starts talking to her. He explains clan traditions in a better way than that ghost ever could.
Joystick calls her first ever meeting on a stack of cardboard boxes and is very nervous her tail is literally like a squirrel. She tells the clan to look out for a kit that could be Solar's sibling, Lunar. The clan agrees and Joystick asks Glitch later in the night when everyone else is asleep to guide Lunar to The Arcats, Glitch agrees but also calls her dumb.
