━ ellis o’connell. a scorpio born on november first to a college-aged father who was not suited for a child, leading him to take a cross-country roadtrip when ellis was only one year old. he dropped his son off at camp half blood, and ellis has never seen his father since, despite receiving postcard updates from him regularly.
━ while many demigods feel disconnected from their godly parents, ellis has always felt very connected with his mother hecate. she has aided him in much of his practice and studies, and he is very grateful for her.
━ he is twenty one years old and has never put much thought into his sexuality — he just knows he doesn’t like girls and that’s fine with him. he’s a cismale & uses he/him pronouns.
━ he is determined, yet comes off as disconnected.
━ he is very focused on his practice, which takes up much of his time and energy, though as he has gotten older, he has gained much more skill.
━ he’s known to not participate in many events, preferring to stay in his cabin and research. when you’ve been there so long, you get a bit stir crazy. things get repetitive.
━ he has eight beads on his necklace — not a crazy amount, but a wonder he has survived this long.
━ he can be cruel, for no other reason than it gives him a good laugh.
━ he is resentful — bitter that he never got a support system, nor people who loved him. tying into his cruelness is his attitude towards those families.
━ self-destructive. volunteers himself for nearly every quest, even if he doesn’t get along with or fraternize with the quest leader. one would say he’s hungry for death. is he? who knows. the whispers say they do.
