- The sounds and scents of the mender's den were comforting to wake to, and the signs of Breezepaw doing so were subtle but present -- his weight shifting and a flick of his tail before one eye finally blinked open. Front paws stretched before him as he spotted his mentor with a pile of herbs close by. Between one heartbeat and the next he was on his paws and beside xem. "Good morning!" He chirped, far too bright for having still been asleep mere moments before. "Do you need help with anything?"
β Foxshine - Male - 33 moons - Hunter- Apprentice: Sandpaw - ~Sandpaw β
- He hadn't been awake for very long, only a couple moments which he had taken to quickly groom any wayward fur before he actually started his day. Foxshine had never been an early riser by any definition and it was clear that he was still tempted by the idea of just curling back up in his nest for a while longer. That wouldn't do though. He had responsibilities, like a proper hunter -- and a proper mentor -- and as much as he would like to shirk them for just a little longer he needed to get going. With a final stretch he made his way from the hunter's den. He blinked in the sunlight before padding towards the apprentice's den. "Sandpaw..?" He called with a yawn, voice just loud enough to be heard.
β Viperpaw - Male - 8 moons - Guardian's Apprentice - Mentor: Wolfheart - ~Open β
- Little more than small tightly curled ball of fur in the center of his nest, Viperpaw's ear twitched as movement started up within the den but he only curled tighter into himself. He had absolutely no intention of moving and the more apprentices that were called out the more of the den he'd have to himself. They could call him lazy if they wanted but he'd been perfectly content with his ability to wake up when he wanted to instead of when others did, not at all helped by how late it usually was when he finally managed actually to fall asleep. He was ignoring all those mornings Viper had dragged him from the nest by his scruff the instant the sun peeked over the horizon. Thinking of her still caused a pang in his chest.
