i've realised there's also a lot of irony in having the chickenpedia NPC named plato:

According to Diogenes Laërtius, when Plato gave the tongue-in-cheek definition of man as "featherless bipeds," Diogenes plucked a chicken and brought it into Plato's Academy, saying, "Behold! I've brought you a man," and so the Academy added "with broad flat nails" to the definition.

i kinda wish the NPC was an actual chicken tho, that would've been the real icing of the cake

Yup that's why I chose the name! I always have little reasonings for why I pick things.

I just noticed the arcade npc has my username that I’ve been using since 2015ish for a name. Weird coincidence, not sure what to think of that.

This one is based on a misspelling/reinterpretation of one of the Steam mascots! (Steam -> Vapor, everything is some kind of parody because parody is fair use of copyright protected stuff.)

can i just say how much i love b the fact that the little computer icons actually can take you to parts of the site? like th chicken paint going to oekaki boards etc,,, this is so fricken nifty!!!!

I am so in love with this theme, it has such a vaporwave vibe and I, as a vaporwave lover, am absolutely obsessed with it omg!! Can't wait to see all the pets and the tokens are just so cool I will definitely keep some for myself. Also, the fact that the music icon takes you to lofi hip hop radio is so nice!
