2022 Summer Event: Pet, Item & Event Discussion

Oh man. While the Snake style game is fun. Really hoping it doesn't actually play a part in the event and is just for fun cause, I'm going on vacation tomorrow and idk how im gonna play that on a phone.

Im currently playing it on my phone, it isnt too bad! The input is slightly delayed but I am still able to make tight turns pretty consistently!

this event makes us so, so happy!!! internet culture, internet malware, glitches and stuff like that have always been a big special interest for us. i love the snake game, even on the phone. its a lot easier when you dont get cut off on corners. i cant wait to see everything else this event will do and all the pets and items! i am absolutely in LOVE with the records. theyre all so cute and charming

Are the items at the Auction Bawk going to be lasting multiple days? I really hope it is, since we can only get 3 things. I *love* those items. They have a lovely old-school feel xD

It's very likely that they'll be like figurine items from Cave paintings from last year's, which it was available as daily grabs, not receive once and none.

Now that I'm at my laptop, I can easily write more about what I love about the event 8D

I love how the aesthetic is a mix of Windows 2000 and Windows XP... the design of the browser windows is sooo old, older than my childhood LOL my childhood was Windows XP, so that blue task bar was my childhood... I remember the weather part, I remember the language selection part, oh god

(oddly, the time on the taskbar isn't there on the glitchless version; I assume that's a mistake lol)

Totoro Chase! The classic snake game! I love it! I love how the URs and Rainbow Smoothie are in it LOL
Hey, I've already found a few bugs! Not sure if they were intentional or real bugs LOL
1. The pets I unlocked on my phone don't carry over to my laptop
2. Occasionally, when crossing the edge, I can run over myself. I'm not sure what causes it, but I think it's if I press an arrow key since the few times it's happened, I was running over myself for an entire edge (so I didn't cross like this + but like this ---)

And everything the NPCs say LOL I'm glad Tweeter points out that the people with the most followers aren't always right

That door is intriguing... I wonder what our pets are actually doing and how we're, you know, picking up code and stuff. Since we're in cyberspace and all.

One of the banner items says "VIRUS DETECTED"... uh oh, did a virus break the internet? Or a worm? Or something? Maybe it's gonna be similar to some real life incidents like the Morris Worm incident?
