Rowena cocked her head, trying to think of another possible way to get to the restaurant. "There are a lot of alleys from here to there, but most go straight to dead ends. It could take us quite some time to find one leading to Cat's Claw, although I would like to avoid Wood Lane if possible." She stood up and walked slowly over to the old door leading out of the building, then stood gazing out into the shadow-filled alley. Closing her eyes, she thought about all the roads that crisscrossed though the city. There's got to be some path we've forgotten.

Saule
Saule looks back and forth between Cyllo and Rowena and swallows. Oh... I don't even know if I should mention it, it scares the willies out of me just thinking about it. But looking aback at her friends Saule meets Cyllo's expectant gaze for a moment, the earnest need in his eyes and the hunger that she knows they all feel convinces her. "Well, there might be another way..." She says, tailing off for a moment still somewhat uncertain. "There is an entrance to the sewers from the back corner of my garden. I'm sure we could travel through them but..." She is forced to swallow before continuing. "But there's no map, and it's like a maze down there! We could get lost and never find our way back out again. Or worse, find our way right into the Rejtoc!" Saule looks at her paws, as though the spots and hold the answer.

Cyllo followed Rowena to the door, his golden eyes glinting in the dim lighting. Poking his head out the door, he squinted to adjust his vision, trying to guide his mind through the maze of the city. Snapping out of his thoughts, he looked over at Saule when she started talking. His eyes widened slightly as he heard her idea. "Wow, Saule" he laughed a little, his hope sparking again. "That's an amazing idea! But you're right, if we get lost..." his voice trailed off and he cocked his head slightly. "It's dangerous, yes, but very possible at the same time. I think we could do it." But wait and see what Rowena thinks! He glanced at his white-coated friend. "What do you think?"

Rowena opened her deep blue eyes. "The sewers?" Her voice held fear and uncertainty. "Well, that could work, but it's risky. I don't know..." Her fur was beginning to rise at the thought of the dark, damp, foul-smelling place. She hardened her voice and looked up into Cyllo's eyes, raising her tail above her back in a gesture of courage. "But I'll follow you whatever path you chose. You and Saule decide."

Cyllo nodded at Rowena's answer. "Thanks, Rowena. How 'bout you, Saule?" He blinked and shifter his position slightly.

Saule
Saule takes a deep breath, holding it in for a moment, trying to find her courage. She looks between the other two canines. Common Saule, if both of them are willing to risk their life for this, shouldn't you be too? I mean, what is life anyway if you're just going to starve? She lets her held breath out slowly in a heavy sigh then looks at Cyllo for a long moment. "Ok, I'm in." She tries to smile a bit as she walks back across the room and noses the hidden access panel. A soft click sounds and it swings open, showing the stone stairs where she had appeared from not too long ago. Saule stands to the side, looking back at the other two dogs. "Alright, go ahead down. But don't step on any of my babies!" She adds with a friendly growl. "Otherwise, I'll be using you for fertilizer next time." She waits for them to pass, so that she can make sure the passageway access closes behind them when the leave. Quietly, Saule eyes the other animals who have stayed quiet whilst they made plans. I promise you that I'll do my best to bring something back, but if you don't come too, I can't guarantee it will be very much.

"Don't worry, I'll be careful." Rowena knew how much Saule cared about her little plants. "I don't think I would make a very good fertilizer, anyway!" She laughed. She liked the plants too, but for some reason had never been able to raise one to full growth.

Carefully placing her paws one by one on the steps, she descended into the greenhouse. I must ask Saule how she manages to grow so many seedlings successfully. When we get back from our raid...if we get back. I wish we could survive on tomatoes and cucumbers, but that's not how any creature is meant to live.

Personality:Jade is stuck-up, cocky, and thinks that she can do everything a million times better than everyone else around her. She is easily angered, and is ready to carry an argument out for hours if she feels she can win. This behavior often got her in trouble when she was younger, leaving her with a couple of scars that will never heal. If one manages to get on her good side, however, she is very kind, thoughtful, and a loyal friend to the end.

Cyllo smiled and nodded, standing up and following Rowena down the stairs. He daintily made his way down, squinting to see though the dim light, Once his eyes adjusted he trotted down a bit faster. The pit in his stomach seemed to swell with nervousness. Cyllo knew what he was doing meant that he was risking his life, but it was for his friends! Once they got to the bottom, Cyllo blinked in surprise at the vast amount of seedlings Saule had managed to grow. "Wow," he complimented, "This is amazing, Saule!" He picked his way though the little plants, careful not to step on one, and came to a stop next to a grate inlaid in the wall. He peered into it nervously, his ears flattening slightly.

This is no time to wimp out! He scolded himself, and turned to Rowena and Saule. "This is the thing, right?"
