people who spend more time on here surely will be rewarded with more prizes overall, but people who spend more time on here also probably value those prizes more than people who can only spend 10minutes a day. they will get more enjoyment out of them as they simply spend more time on here.

I think the giveaway is fair, we do have a limit of the amount of candy people can get (maximum 100) so people who spend a lot of time on here will just hit their cap earlier and therefore won't have much of an unfair advantage over others

but i enjoy the game and value the prizes just as much. but i know where you're coming from. thank you. -didnt know about the cap- so does that mean anyone that trades can only trade up too 100. or they can only find 100 but trade for more.

can only find 100 but may trade for more as people say, once the halloween crazyness has died down in the trades, there will be spare halloween pets floating around and available for trade, so I suggest waiting a few weeks before giving up something precious for something you are missing

I really wish there would just be one outcome of everything,it's hard enough to get even one of each thing to start with....=( It's really not fun for me when I have to try so hard to get everything. Last year it was so easy and I only missed one outcome and got it without a huge bother. This isn't much easier than easter and I still to this day have three rabbits I never got...and I only ever got four items out of the thing,and one was a duplicate I had to use so I could trade for something else.

You know something? That really is the quickest way I know to ensure there are no more events or special holiday pets.

Let me be counted amongst those who are openly grateful for the all work (both centre stage and behind the curtains) poured into creating and running such a fun event.

Absolutely seconded. I've been thinking the same thing. The event is fantastic - has taken a lot of work and is a great deal of fun. The time it must take to produce a pet with more than one outcome that looks professional enough to appear on the site, is much greater than people might think, and these artists are giving up their precious free time to do this.
There's plenty of candy to collect and an entire week in order to do so - so everyone even with limited computer time should be able to collect at least the pets from the halloween store. And yet some people are so whingy and - let's face it - ungrateful.
Why should the artists and mods and programmers continue do do this, if all the thanks they get are people whinging and complaining?

So - I've enjoyed every minute so far and would like to thank the mods for all their hard work too. It is very much appreciated.

I wonder what I'll get to auction off after that. I'm thinking the rabbit, or maybe some items. And a few more puppies/rats/horses wouldn't hurt.
