If someone told you that you were going to die in less than two weeks, what would you do? What would you say?
How would you react?
Would it seem strange to you if this happened to your 16-year-old best friend, and you reacted worse than them?
Would it seem even more strange if your friend saw this as a good situation?
If they seemed... happy?

Day 1
As I tried to enter Desirae's room in the hospital, I found it rather challenging, which confused me. Wasn't this supposed to be a quiet, solemn place? ...Then again, Rae was pretty popular at school. That brought me to another thought: what if she didn't care to see me? I saw some people there that I'd never met. Probably because I wasn't popular; my idea of a good Friday night was watching SpongeBob SquarePants and having a good book next to me for whenever I felt like reading; sometimes even some drawing or writing tools, since those could also pass the time. It didn't occur to me that it was me that Desirae had actually spent the most time with.

Perhaps I should explain what's going on here. I couldn't stand to see my friend go. She was the closest thing to me, even closer than my family; so I decided to make a journal of our last meetings. If only I had known this would happen to her when we were little, then I would've made a journal of our lives...

When I squeezed passed the people in the room to see Rae, I expect to see someone weak and ready for death to come.

What I saw was completely opposite.

She lay in her bed, yes, but with a smile on her face. She hugged the visiters and laughed at what they said. It was as if nothing was wrong. When I got my chance to go up to her though, her face lit up. I didn't know how much I meant to her. "Thank you for coming," she whispered in my ear as I leaned down to hug her.

After that, I waited for the others to file out. They were there to drop off flowers and go. I sat down on the chair next to her bed, and a lot of the stuff afterwards was silence. We made a lot of small talk and had a few laughs, but truthfully... we didn't know what to say. The nurse came in and announced closing time, and we bid our farewells. "Come back tomorrow," Desirae whispered.

"Of course," I said.

Part 1
Heaven sat beside her mother in her throne, with many boys surrounding her and saying lovey-dovey stuff to her. Blossom, Heaven's mother, signed new laws and taxes. Heaven got board of watching and hearing the boys, so she flew to her room, and closed the door. She sat on her plush bed, looking out the window over her kingdom. She suddenly saw a figure with wings in the distance. She got a closer look to see what it was. It was another wolf! She narrowed her eyes, and stared at it. The wolf seemed to be getting closer, and closer. She backed away from the window, and flew down the stairs to her Garden. She saw the wolf land on her window seal. She narrowed her eyes as the wolf looked around. "Princess," The wolf called out, his voice smoothe and handsome. Heaven saw that the stranger had a rose in his mouth. Oh great, another guy that loves me. Heaven thought, rolling her eyes. "Heaven, Love of my life, why must you ignore me..?" The male sighed, and left the rose on Heaven's window seal. He flew off into the sunset. Strange...I've never met a guy winged wolf. Heaven thought. She looked at the sunset, and saw the male still flying away. She flew to her window, and picked up the rose. She smiled, her eyes sparkling.


Part 2

Heaven padded to where she last saw the male with the rose in her mouth. She knew her admirer came every sunset, so she would wait for him there. She brushed out her fur, and put on her necklace. She smiled as she looked at herself in the mirror. Heaven padded to her window, and waited. She saw the winged male appear in the distance. She smiled as he got closer. He landed in her garden this time, right on the bridge. He had another rose in his mouth, and a golden cloak on him. Her eyes sparkled in the evening sun, and she flew down in front of him. "Princess Heaven!" The male exclaimed. "It's nice to see you," He murmured. "I'm Ash of Burning Cole, but call me Ash." He added. Heaven wrapped her tail around her paws neatly. "I heard you a day ago. You left the rose at my window, I saw you. I was here in my garden at the time." Heaven said. "Heh..I brought you another." He murmured, putting the rose in front of her. Heaven smiled, and put the rose behind her ear. "You look beautiful, by the way." Ash said. Heaven blushed. "Thank you," She smiled, licking him. Finally a guy that doesn't constantly say: "Will you go out with me?!" "My dear lady, will you come with me?" Ash asked respectfully. Heaven nodded, and Ash flew off into the sunset with Angel beside him. Her eyes sparkled, and the breeze flew through her fur as she flew gracefully beside Ash. Ash landed beside a beautiful waterfall. Heaven gasped at the beautiful sight. The waterfall was crystal clear and smooth, cherry blossoms sheltered the waterfall, creating a beautiful pink glow. Fireflies flew around, lighting up the dark. Ash had lit candles. "Oh Ash, this is so romantic." Heaven said gently, breathing in the sweet cherry blossom scent. Ash smiled, and flew to her. His nose touch hers. "I love you..." He whispered. "I love you too."

Part 3

Ash and Heaven howled beautiful songs together at night. They talked about their future together. Ash licked Heaven's beautiful face. "Will you be my mate?" Ash asked, putting a cherry blossom ring on her paw. Heaven's eyes widened. She looked up at Ash. She smiled, and licked his lips. "Of course." She replied. Ash held her paw, and kissed her on the lips as if he was human. Heaven smiled, and her wings spread out fully. Finally her life was perfect. Ash wrapped himself around Heaven, and covered her with his wings. Cherry blossom petals fell on them, and fireflies flickered around them. The soothing, calm running of the waterfall hummed them to sleep. Ash fell asleep, his wings covering them both.

Part 4

Ash woke up, the sun shining throw the cherry blossoms, creating a pink glow. "Beloved...Wake up," Ash yawned, taking his wings off of her. Ash licked the dirt out of her fur. Heaven's eyes slowly flickered open. "Here, I'll carry you home." Ash smiled, picking up Heaven by her scruff gently and flew her to her castle. Meanwhile, Blossom was getting worried. She sent out soldiers to find Heaven. They saw Ash carrying Heaven, and shot arrows at him. Ash dodged them all, and flew faster toward the castle. He landed in Heaven's room, and laid Heaven on her bed. Guards burst through the door of Heaven's room, and put chains around Ash's paws. Blossom walked in the room. "You kidnapped my daughter!" Blossom growled. Heaven stared at hole through her mother. "Mother--" Heaven tried to protest. "Have him arrested for kidnapping my daughter!" Blossom ordered the guards. "Mother, no!" Heaven yelled has Ash was taken to the dungeon. "I love him!" Heaven yelled again, flying to the guards and clawed their paws. Heaven sliced her claws through Ash's chains which made sparks fly. "Heaven!" Came the angry voice of her mother. "He kidnapped you, he should be taken away!" Blossom growled. "Mother, I agreed to let him take me away." Heaven growled. "Ash is my mate now," She said, narrowing her eyes at her mother. "Kill him, and you must kill me."

Part 5

A few days went by, and Ash had been released. Heaven and Ash peacefully walked through their garden. A wedding would be held soon. Heaven's mother and her royal assistants decorated the garden for their wedding. Heaven's wedding dress was a beautiful silver. Ash's tuxedo was a handsome black-and-white. Everyone from the kingdom was there. Ash and Heaven walked down the stone path to the alter. Blossom watched silently, with a smile on her face. The Priest read what was in a book. "Ash, take you Heaven, to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?" The priest asked. "I do." Ash replied. "Heaven, take you Ash to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?" The priest asked. "I do." Heaven replied. The priest nodded. "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest said. Ash smiled, and kissed Heaven on the lips as if he was human. The kingdom cheered happily for their new king and queen.

Part 6 (I hope someone was a stalker of this, I wrote so much ;-;

A year went by, and the air was humming with the sounds of summer. Heaven held a small child in her paws. The child licked Heaven's nose. "I will name you Hibiscus." Heaven murmured to her pup. Ash walked over with a staff in his paw, and his golden cloak on. "She's beautiful." Ash smiled. "She has your eyes." Heaven said. Ash and Heaven twined tails. Ash rested his head on Heaven's head, and looked at Hibiscus. "She will be the queen of Feyria one day."

The second time the bear appeared in front of the small shack the girl was ready. After a long month of cajoling and pleading she had come to her conclusion – bitterness and anger. If they really did not want her that bad than she had a reason to be both. If they intended to pawn her off to some bear then they had another thing coming to them. She peaked out the window with a knot in her stomach, pulling her old parka around her tighter.
“Either way we'll be a bit richer.” One of her brothers snickered from behind. “If he really is magic we get what he says, if he eats you we'll just have that much more for ourselves.”
Veslemoy grit her teeth, willing herself not to say anything. Though at that moment it really did not seem like it would matter; she'd be gone and they could think what they like.
“Well come on.” Her father held the door open. “He's waiting.”
I hope you regret this... I hope you're absolutely miserable on the inside from this day on... She silently stepped outside, finding the bear waiting practically on the door step.
“You'll have to ride on my back,” He told her. “It's too far for you to walk.”
“I can manage.” She snipped, not wanting to take any orders from him. Even if she was going to live with him now, there was no way in heaven or earth that she was going to take anymore orders from anyone. If her family was going to abandon her like that, then in Veslemoy's opinion she was free as a bird.
“No.” The bear practically growled, frightening even her father. “You ride on my back.”
The girl snorted, stomping through the melting snow towards the bear. In the most unflattering manner, she scrambled onto his back, being sure to tug on his baggy hide as much as she could get away with. They were all going to be sorry.
“Are you frightened?” He asked as she situated herself.
“Never.”
“Hold tight.” He warned, though was off even before that. His rough lumbering gate swayed her back and forth in the most unpleasing fashion, but Veslemoy held tight. She was almost glad for the fact she had left everything back home, it was less to worry about falling off.
Despite herself, the girl looked back towards her home, finding that she could barely see it back there on the horizon. Maybe she would miss it, just a little.
