"I'm Aardvark's Dig, a scavenger of the Order of the Hyena," she meowed, pausing to look confused for just a second. "I just realized how much of a mouthful the name of my Clan is. We usually just call it the Order," she purred with a smile. "SeaClan sounds like the name of a lovely Clan. I'm assuming you're near the sea in some shape or form?" the question tumbled out of her mouth before she could stop it, and she looked at the other molly sheepishly. It was most likely a silly question; why else would they name themselves SeaClan? Aardvark's Dig was well known to have simply no filter, and it was constantly a fact that her mate pointed out that he loved. Regardless, she would have to learn some form of control before her kits got too much older and the litter they were adopting arrived. "I apologize, you're probably tired of hearing that question," she chuckled gently.

sealfisher shrugged lightly, his own heaps of pelt shifting with the movement. "most cats in our clan have thick pelts - well, except wizard, our new healer. he has no fur at all." he gestured with his nose towards the naked tomcat with the colorful cloak wrapped around his shoulders. wizard was so bizarre, sealfisher mused, but had good intentions. "guides?" he repeated curiously. "no, we do not have those - what are their duties?"
"well, every potion is different. belly-warming brews are a mix of, hm, let's see..." wizard began ticking the ingredients off on his claws as he listed them. "four rear - make sure they're the rear! - toad feet, six purple peony petals, two red mushrooms... hmm, oh, yes, don't forget the mint leaves! twelve, to be precise! stir it all up, leave it in the sun for a day or so, voila! instant warmth!" he swept his hands out in a flourish as if to present an invisible potion. "oooh, i see - messages from starclan, always so curious. do you enjoy living there?" he cocked his head.
balladsnuff came back into reality with a start when ivynose spoke to him; balladsnuff had been enamored by the tune he was humming and had spaced out, which was not particularly uncommon for him. "oh, hello!" he chirped, turning to grin at the other tomcat. "balladsnuff, from totemclan." he chuckled lightly. "i wouldn't know anything about catching prey - never been too good at it. but i got a nose that can sniff out a cat for a days travel in any direction." the nose in question wiggled. "how does seaclan fare?"
tempestpaw smiled at the tom. "oh, no, they never change," she peered up at the constellations in question, picking out what shapes she could see in the sky. "in my clan, there's usually clouds covering the stars. i don't often get to see them. this is my first gathering - i've never seen so many stars in one place!" her delight was palpable. "i'm here with my mom, too, and my brother." she indicated both cats in question with a point of her tail.

The maine coon sighed playfully, "I'm doing alright!" Despite his word, he couldn't suppress the anxiety of his clan and their soon to be attack on rogues, "We are planning a battle with a rogue group who has been plaguing our clan for the past few moons, so It's hard not to worried." He murmured,
Hollystar dipped her head in confusion as Raggedclaw called his leader name a formality, but didn't press him, "He does." She purred, "The kits in Tundraclan all cuddle up to him. It's adorable to see." She chuckled, "The weather has been alright for prey, thankfully. We're managing to hunt well in the cold season, which I'm thankful for. How is your clan faring during these times?" She inquired.
Tsunamibite looked as a tom walked up to him, "Hello there, I'm Tsunamibite, deputy of Tundracan." He mewed as an unfamiliar white tom padded up to him. He dipped his head and curled his tail around his paws.
Wisteriaflight purred to the other healer in thanks as Swanflight glanced at Dreamwatcher as she addressed him, "I am! Wisteriaflight was my mentor. I've been a healer for a bit over a year now, and we just mentored a new Healer, named Celestialtrail." Swanflight explained, "Are you the only medicine cat in your clan?" she asked.
With Swanflight
Honeyfur mewed, "It's alright. My mate is not a big fan of gatherings, and they are watching over our adopted kits." She purred at the thought of her family. The ginger and white molly looked back at Lore as the oriental spoke, "I'm seventy-three moons old! Definitely getting up there in age, aren't I?" she laughed. Her attitude swiftly changed from friendly to somber as she heard Lore spoke of a plague that wiped out many cats in Celestial Beings, "I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope Celestial Beings will be able to find a new home soon. Tundraclan is currently dealing with a rogue group, but I hope we have that under control!"

slateslun looked over at the totemclan healer and blinked in surprise before slowly looking back at sealfisher. "he's certainly interesting." he muttered. slatesun tilted his head, squinting his eyes in thought. "i suppose they are senior warriors? we used to have different ranks for hunting and fighting, but rosestar did away with them and introduced guides. we have two guides at the moment, orvomask and sootcloud, and i think they just help with patrols and training. i honestly don't really know. part of me thinks rosestar made the role just so her two closest friends ranked higher than the other cats but... sorry, i didn't mean to ramble."
tawnyfeather nodded, shoulders relaxing at the molly's curiosity. "that's noble. i've been a full healer for many moons now, perhaps longer than you've been alive. i know i think i could be of assistance if you wish."
dapperbird chuckled softly. "i don't think so? but we haven't been to a gathering in ages so i don't blame you for asking." the bicolor rolled his shoulders slightly, tilting his head. "i'm not quite sure where the northlands are, but it sounds lovely."
ravencrown dipped her head in greeting before blinking in surprise. "seaclan?" she asked. "i haven't heard of seaclan since i was a kit. is it nice there?"
ghostseeker followed behind the three hazelclan apprentices slowly, keeping a close eye on them while giving them space to socialize. he was the appointed apprentice-sitter for the gathering, much to his annoyance.
gooseberrypie circled the clearing slowly, trying her best to look open for conversation with any passing cats.
coffeepaw nodded happily. "yeah! we have two brothers at home too, javapaw and fayoumipaw. they are a moon younger than us because mom had our brothers a moon after momma had us!" the molly took a minute to shove daypaw back after he had pushed her and then continued, "do you have siblings?"
daypaw pushed coffeepaw half-heartedly as she started to ramble, whispering to pandapaw, "have you heard of chaosclan?"
pandapaw nodded to sweetpaw, a smile smile appearing on her face at her sister's rambles. after hearing daypaw's question she whispered back, "no i don't think so."
Lotuscrest couldn't help but giggle as Thistlepath complained about his brother. "I have never had any siblings, but young cats flock to me for some reason. I can't quite place why they seem to like me so, but I constantly have to watch their little exhibitions as well as keep an eye on kits when their mothers want a break. We have two nursery helpers, and yet the young ones prefer me," she sighed dramatically, a smile still on her face. "I've seen far more drastic differences between siblings than those you described between you and Kiwituft. I assume you hold him dear to your heart, though, considering that you continue to think of him even when speaking to a stranger," she purred kindly. The love between siblings was one she would never experience herself, but she was happy that others would forever be able to experience such emotions.
Hum paused to think through the majority of their Clan's lineage. "Well, yes. Prior to our current Osprey, the line had grown distant from our ancestors. They then took matters into their own paws, so to speak, and appointed Pewee to the position of honor. She was the second-born kit of the Osprey before her, but she was the one the ancestors deemed fit to rule," they explained, choosing to omit the disappearance of the entirety of AviaryClan except for Pewee herself. As Spikebush worried about the heir's appointed mate, Hum couldn't help but chuckle. "Most commonly they will choose their own mate, declaring their betrothal after they complete their training. Sometimes they will choose one when they are younger, declaring they would prefer one of their closest friends to be their ruling partner rather than a mate. Our current heir, Fulica, has been the best of friends with Zenaida since they were born. When he was six moons old, he announced that he would not ever rise to the rank of eagle without her at his side. The ruling pair obliged him, mostly because he is one of the bossiest young cats any of us have ever met. They knew, however, that he would most likely find a mate once he was old enough to understand such things. Yet, we were all surprised when the two happened to fall in love during these most recent moons. Who would have guessed that a bossy kit who wanted to train beside his best friend would unknowingly appoint the molly he would ultimately fall in love with to the position," Hum chuckled. Fulica and Zenaida's story was rather comedic, but it was a strange one.
Dugong's Spin leaped to her feet and snarled, lips curling back to reveal thorn-sharp teeth. Her chest heaved as she fought to catch her breath after it was stolen by Turtleflame's rude words. "I thought he cared about me, but he told me he only hung around out of pity. How was I to know that he was so hung up on that stupid other molly? And what do you know about control, coming from your puny Clan? I doubt you've had the thrill of staring down a lion and refusing to drop your gaze. Until you've faced the predators of legend and held your ground, you have no right to think me or any cat in my Clan to be weak. If you so much as think another thought like that, I will shred your ears and leave you wailing for your mother like a pathetic little kit," she swore, claws digging gashes into the dirt beneath them. It took all of her self control to not leap upon Turtleflame in this exact moment, the urge to leave her with several stinging memories of tonight washing over Dugong's Spin like a relentless wave.
"I'm Aardvark's Dig, a scavenger of the Order of the Hyena," she meowed, pausing to look confused for just a second. "I just realized how much of a mouthful the name of my Clan is. Hyenapaw was quick to offer to come the gathering he had practically done this kind of thing already when he was a leader. He has been wondering if it was time for him to become a medicine cat, and sitting here with he clan, he almost felt as if he was being called to action.
]Windclaw smiled, though he struggled to keep up with the tom at first. With his chatter though windclaw knew the younger cat could be a good pick. “ I am,” he said with a wink, “and a very experienced one at that, including gatherings.” He knew some cats would disagree, especially when he could still be considered young, but the apprentice infront of him wasn’t likely to make that kind of connection. “The names Windclaw by the way.”
Shadowsight saw Windclaw approach and apprentice, and watch for a while to make sure he stayed where he was. When she was sure if that, she looked around for someone they could talk to, where she could still see Windclaw. She spotted and unoccupied deputy, and thought it was a perfect opportunity, both to watch Windclaw, but also for Sealpaw to see the best of gatherings. She trotted toward the top, motioning for Sealpaw to follow. “ Hello, I’m Shadowsight, and this is my friend Sealpaw, we’re from Auroraclan.” Sealpaw added a quick hello, but his attention was stuck on the word friend. It exicted him, to be considered a friend to such an intresting cat.
Foxflame was still annoyed to be relegated to the deputies, we he himself was a leader in his way. His annoyances made him hunger for a challenge and when he say Reedapple, he felt they were the cat he needed. He barred his way over, and introduced himself in a proud voice “I’m Foxflame, of Geminiclan.”
