• september twenty-seventh. i don't have anything in particular that i do routinely for my birthday. my parents might have some sort of dinner planned, and my mother might make a cake. however, nothing's guaranteed. i feel like the past couple of years i've just stayed in my room for most of the day.

nothing really happened and everything was relatively neutral. most of it was spent on arranging plans for the next few weeks.

^ if you have a playlist of some sort, hit shuffle 3 times. you can also listen to some songs by an artist you like that you haven't listened/don't usually listen to. if you're unsatisfied with the result, then just whatever is fine.

^ I didn't know much about Technoblade, but even when I heard the news this morning I felt a bit sad. Hopefully you can still enjoy his videos, but it may benefit you to take a break for a little while. Regardless, I hope you feel better soon.

if we're going with more flexible definitions of "book", i'd say tai sui by priest. it's a lengthy webnovel that hits all my worldbuilding and character development cravings, even if i do think it drags at some points (it's like... nearly a million words long). i really adore priest's writing because i think she writes partings and reunions really well + examines a lot of social and psychological issues in a pretty sympathetic way.
