Would it be too drastic of a change if I drew #3 as a fox, and with the green and red on their back as vines and berries that lay atop their coat? ^^

Kitten 3 already has the vines and berries on its back :] The species can be different as long as the lineart is not changed (eg changed to a dragon/pegasus) Since cats and foxes have similar lineart, I will close one eye to this. ^^ As for the colour, the palette can be similar (eg darker orange) but not to an extent that the previous and final colours have barely any similarity between them ;)
