indentationFor centuries the Blue Rock Pack and the Dark Moon Pack have been at war. Most have forgotten what started this war. But this is the story; Vala, heiress of the Blue Rock Pack, and Durik the second son of the alpha’s of the Dark Moon Pack were once betrothed. But one jealous wolf sought to stop the mateship and confronted the pair one night. The three fought, and in the struggle, Durik was killed. The jealous wolf escaped, never to be seen again leaving Vala frozen. Durik’s older littermate and heir to the Dark Moon Pack found Vala and the deceased Durik the next morning. They killed her in a rage, believing that Vala had killed their beloved brother. After that, peace was no longer an option.
indentationNow centuries later, battle after battle, death after death, change comes. While most are fine with continuing the war for their own reasons. Winter is coming and both packs have dwindled to just half their original size. So the Alpha's met in secret and made a deal, one that would end the war and bind the packs together. Mateship, between a fighter in the Blue Rock Pack and a Hunter of the Dark Moon Pack, are set to become mates and combine their two packs.
Hopefully, there will be peace, but how long will it last?

Alphas: the leader of the pack. they are the main ones in control and sets the laws of the pack. they aren't required to tag along with any of the duties belonging to the ranks below them, however, it is optional, and usually, frequently they do so. they demand the highest of respect and are in a position to exile, banish or even cause fatalities to other members should a member disobeys the rules. (1 or 2) High Rank
Beta: the second in command. they are known as the pack’s enforcers, upholding the pack’s law toward everyone. they are the ones to step in for the alpha’s duties when they are not able or present. These wolves are considered the alpha’s heir, but only should the Alpha(s) die without a named heir. (only 1) High Rank
Healer: the explanation for this rank is rather simple, this wolf is the pack's healer. They care for general health, looks after the elderly, and care for the sick and injured. These wolves and their trainees are the only wolves allowed on enemy pack territory, due to the need to gather herbs. (only 1) High rank
Leads: These wolves are the best within their rank, either due to experience, or skill. These wolves tend to be quite dominant within the pack, just below the Alphas, and Beta in a pack structure. These wolves depending on their rank like Lead Hunter may lead large-pack-wide hunts, and assign wolves to smaller hunts. The lead fighter will assign patrols, and start mock battles/spars. Both leads will train the pack's trainee’s in their particular art. (two per pack) Mid rank
Fighters: This rank is self-explanatory, they are the protectors of the pack, fighting off dangers like other wolves, bears and etc. (five per pack) Normal Rank
Hunters: This rank is self-explanatory, they are the wolves that feed the pack, hunting down anything from the smallest rabbit to the largest moose. (five per pack) Normal rank
Mothers: These few wolves are females who are pregnant or caring for pups under six months. (One per pack at the start)
Pups: The young of the pack. Under Six months old. (No more than three per litter) Normal rank
Trainees: These wolves are set to train in one of three ranks. Healer, Fighter, or Hunter. They can be anywhere from six months to a year and six months. (One Healer trainee, and two fighter/hunter trainees per pack) Normal rank, Healer trainee/apprentice is considered a mid-rank though.
Elders: Not many wolves get to this point, these wolves are usually at least eight years of age, but maybe younger. If they weren’t retired due to age, then it's probably an injury that took them out of the game for one reason or another. (no more than two per pack) Normal rank
Omegas: This rank differs depending on the pack. Though no omega is treated with much respect no matter the pack. For the Dark Moon Pack, the omega is a punishment rank, if you mess up badly enough you end up here. You may have skills in other ranks, but you’ve been demoted and now your only duty is to help care for the elders, and pups, and clean out old bedding. In the Blue Rock Pack, the omega rank has a loose and varied interpretation. You may be here because you don’t have any useful skills because you’ve caused trouble, or even because you’re new to the pack and aren’t trusted yet. (1 per pack in the beginning) Low rank

Betrothed; This isn't a normal rank in any pack and is usually used to end problems between two packs, by binding them together with the mateship of the children of two high-ranking wolves. Though it's not always a son or daughter of a high-ranking wolf that's getting betrothed, someone favored by the current high ranks. Depending on the wolves and what the pack leaders decide, the packs may decide to make one super pack with the two betrothed as the new alphas or have a third pack made to assist in keeping the peace between the two packs. (Mid-rank)
Ragerunners; These wolves weren't loyal to any one pack, they were usually born from cross-pack relations. These wolves had one main job they worked in shifts. They kept watching over the one active volcano in the area, if it showed signs of erupting, then two of the runners on duty would go and warn the packs, so preparations could be made. Another two would wait from a safe distance to see if it would erupt and in what direction. This rank slowly stopped being used as the volcano slowly went inactive a few centuries ago. Though it's still remembered and elders often tell stories about the Ragerunner's bravery. (was formerly considered a gray area between ranks mostly depending on the wolf parents' ranks. But they were highly respected and often treated akin to Alpha's at the most or a young healer trainee at least.)

Elkan is a great many things, protective and grim, but above all - at a near constant, Elkan is eloquent. No matter his mood or what topic he’s going on about. He’s generally good-tempered, and well-liked within the pack despite his more grim nature. He’s among the first to look at things negatively when things go wrong and tends to think the worst of newcomers. But he’s quite tolerant of all things, and rarely loses his temper. His tolerance and calculating nature make it hard to pin him down sometimes, doubly so when you factor in this tendency to be rather unsentimental. He is devoted to his family and pack, but he’d also choose the needs of the many over the few, even if it’s his own sister or pup. Elkan is also quite the flirt, his natural tendency to flirt can both stir up trouble and lighten the mood, but it’s a bit of a toss-up.

Elkan hasn't had the most exciting life, but let me break it down for you. Elkan was born into a large litter, being one of seven, and the third born. His time as a pup was relatively carefree, playing with his litter-mates and other pups. The brute became quite the flirt in response to his parents resolving their mating bond just a month after he'd become an apprentice. It was at best a way to get attention, but his heart was never in it. It was a bit of a shock when he found out that the only father he'd ever known, wasn't actually his father. A rather amorous loner was, something that he detested, he'd planned to leave before finding out and almost did even after. But his step-father convinced him to stay. So he did, doing his best to prove to the pack that he was loyal. He’s been a fighter in the pack ever since. Elkan is a bit of a player, had has left quite a few broken hearts behind. While no one has claimed him as the father of his pups, it's very likely there are some hanging around. He was surprised when a number of years ago a Loner by the name of Inkeri wandered into Dark Moon pack territory, as loners at this point in time were rare. He was even more surprised when he got the news that she was his half-brother's daughter. After she joined the pack, he took her under his wing and has become quite protective over her.

There’s more than meets the eye when it comes to Inkeri, it’s well known that she’s mature - always has been, even as a puppy - and mellow both in terms of her soft voice and easy-going nature. She’s also quite resentful towards others as well, as she often feels invisible, and resents those that seem to get more - positive or negative - attention from others. That being said she’s meek and can’t really find the words to stand up for herself, or others much less make any trouble or noise about much. Of course, Inkeri is a naturally empathetic she-wolf and makes a good shoulder to cry on or just someone to get an honest opinion from. Inkeri’s a strangely skeptical wolf, and tends to play things by ear, though never making a set-in-stone decision, making her both a neutral party and a bit fickle. She’s, unfortunately, has a possessive streak as well, which is mostly tied to her romantic nature. Though not obsessive, her possessiveness can be a bit concerning, and while not in your face about it, she’s more sly and subtle with it.


Inkeri formerly known as Hella was the runt of her litter, but much beloved by her parents due to her similarity to her many greats grandmother Helle. While Hella's siblings were young they were ignorant of their parent's favoritism, but as they entered training, they began to take notice. Her sisters didn't seem to mind it too much, being much more outgoing and independent. Unfortunately, things weren't the same with her brother, one, in particular, took great offense to their favoritism. While her sisters ignored it, and most of her brothers were passive-aggressive and tended to ignore her, Ioann went out of his way to be cruel to her. Due to her parent's favoritism and babying she wasn't mentally prepared for his attacks. After a time she got used to these attacks, merely going to lick her wounds in private.
Their instructors weren't very helpful, encouraging conflict but only letting it get so far, and their parents ridiculed Ioann for his brutish ways towards her. Both only encouraged his anger towards her, festering into hatred. This cycle continued until she was a year and a half old when an older female took her under her wing. The old female; Xandra taught her many things and built her up in many ways. In the end, Xandra and Hella decided the best thing for her was to leave the pack and go her own way, or she'd never grow as a wolf. Three nights after that conversation Hella left her birth pack, leaving behind her family, pack, and everything she'd ever known. She struggled for a time to find food and shelter, but eventually, she got the hang of being alone. When she first met another loner - that wasn't aggressive with her - she left behind the last of her past, her name. That day she introduced herself as Inkeri, and it was a new beginning for her. Days after getting her new name and leaving the other loner behind, she ran into the Wild Valley and was seen by a Dark Moon hunting patrol. Eventually, she joined the pack and found out about her Uncle, Elkan.

Kazue is admittedly a bit of a conundrum even at the best of times. He's not usually what you'd consider your typical fighter by any means, even if you discount his small size. He's notoriously even-tempered, rarely giving in to anger or taking the bait of others, but also has a tendency to taunt others in his own way, still visibly calm and sirene as ever. Generally speaking, the brute is quite friendly, and open to new experiences and new wolves, though once an opinion has been made, it's hard to change it, making him both stubborn and strong-willed. Don't take his friendliness for granted though, he's a fierce little man and quite skilled too. He's normally quite high-spirited but everyone gets a little down sometimes, and he shows much appreciation for anyone that tries to get his spirits up. He's also very dedicated to his new pack, and seems to have a perfect order everything goes in, some things must be done first others are secondary. If he cannot do first things first, - like eating first thing in the morning - then it'll upset him until the next day or he can get one of his other first things first done before any other second.

Kazue was born into a pack that wandered, never staying in one play for to long. Kazue was the son of low and middle-ranking wolves, Ai an omega, and Kano a pack scout. He was the only pup born into that litter, and only four months old when his mother once again was expecting pups. While he didn't know it at the time, his parents and most of the pack were disappointed that another omega - himself - had been born. As all pups are assigned a future rank to train in at three months old. At the time Kazue was small and thin much like his mother, and they shoved him into the ranking of omega without him knowing it. His uncle Fudo started caring for him when his siblings were born. By the time he'd finally realized what had happened, his younger siblings had been assigned their future ranks. Katsumi would become a hunter or scout, Akemi would be a hunter or fighter and Aiko would be able to train as a healer or scout.
When his younger siblings were given their choices for their future ranks, Kazue approached his uncle Fudo - the pack's beta - with an offer. Fudo would train Kazue in everything he knew for a year, and if he was able to impress Fudo and the other high ranks, then he would be allowed into a rank other than omega. but if he failed to impress them, he'd be exiled. It was a promise that Kazue never intended to keep. While he trained hard, learning all he could from his uncle and the various teachers that Fudo had brought to teach him specifics, he left the night before he was set to try to impress the high ranks. While the male exiled himself, Kazue never strayed far from his birth pack, not for years. When he'd gotten word that his uncle had become alpha and his father's death, Kazue returned to the pack, only to congratulate his uncle and say one final goodbye to his father. His younger siblings and mother were quite upset with him. Saying that his father had died from a broken heart, due to the fact that he'd thought Kazua was dead. Kazue left without a word to them, only shooting his uncle a smile at the other male's proud look.
After his final goodbyes, Kazue left the area his birth pack wandered and made the trek to the general area where the Dark Moon Pack and Blue Rock Pack lived. He didn’t bother to intrude on either pack's territory for a few years and only ended up joining the pack three years ago.

Tala isn't the nicest wolf around, short-tempered and malicious by nature, it's quite easy to get on this fae's bad side. That being said she's very intelligent and thoughtful, making her a fair and good judge for the most part. Tala is the type to wait watch and listen, making her seem rather quiet. While bold she's also a bit lazy demanding at least a few cat naps each day. However, she's very pragmatic and tends to go with the flow of things. She runs her hunters like a well-oiled machine but is open to suggestions when it comes to training and hunting patrols.

Tala's had a rather average life, born to a huntress by the name of Laika and a former beta and fighter named Brutus. She was born into their last litter, which they had when they were about seven to eight years old. Tala has quite a few littermates and older siblings, which meant she had plenty of attention growing up. By the time it was time for training, she had a big head, as one of the daughters of the beta - and in her mind the future alpha. That changed rather quickly in some ways, her father retired just two months after she started her training, and well there was no special treatment to be had in training. She found herself hating that her parents were so old - that they would never live to see her achieve her dreams. In the end, she was right, her father died just a year after she became a full huntress of the pack, and her mother died only half a year ago, just six months after she'd become the pack's new lead huntress.

Ty is an interesting wolf, though maybe a little odd, while still staying likable. He's a mature guy, despite his young age though he comes off as rather Rigid because of it. He's also an ambitious soul, something his mother instilled in him at a young age, while not wanting the responsibilities and stress of being Alpha, he finds that becoming Beta or even just a lead would be good enough. Ty can be a bit of a conundrum being both calm and verbose, the odd combination can cause some trouble often making others feel like they are being talked at rather than talked to. This is truthful because of his logical and thoughtful nature, and due to the fact that he doesn't have much of a filter and tends to work things out loud. He can be quite stingy at times, almost to the point of seeming greedy and selfish from time to time. That said the male is protective of his family and pack, which at worst can make him seem almost possessive, and at best keeps his packmates a little safer. But above all, it's well known that Ty is a reliable guy, hard-working, and dedicated to his pack, family, and morals.

Tiberius will admit he's probably gotten to his current place in life through nepotism, though not something he's exactly proud of. He was born into a lower-class family, his father Drift was a troublemaker, and often got demoted and promoted to and from the Omega rank. Which caused some strife when he and his siblings were born, though the male had mostly cleaned up his act by then, his father wasn't exactly well-liked at that point, and those feelings seemed to translate to the male's mate and pups. It was clear from a young age that Tiberious aka Ty was an extroverted wolf, one that easily made friends. His mother in an attempt to give him and his siblings a better life, and with some subtle manipulation, got him to befriend the pups and younger trainees that were related to higher-ranked wolves. Training to become a hunter wasn't his first choice, but it was either that or becoming a healer trainee and Ty refused that. His mother's overprotective tendencies made the first two and a half years of his life a little miserable until he fell into a relationship with the beautiful Elise, who his mother had discouraged him from interacting with. It feels like it was only after his relationship with Elise came to light that things for him started to turn around. And it's not something he likes too much, he feels like he hasn't earned - much less deserves - his new spot as beta.

⚘ Ty dislikes hunting despite being a former hunter and his skill at it. Mostly because his mother pushed him and his siblings there, in an effort to keep them safe. A fat lot of good that did.

Achillies, is witty and cunning, he plans his every move by the step. Although his negative traits tend to get the best of him, this lone wolf is very loyal to the wolves closets to him. He doesn't think much on anything though, tends to get over things quickly. He is quick to anger, an sometimes his actions towards it doesn't do him justice. Achillies is also very reserved, keeps information to himself as well as important business. He does not let out his personal feelings into his role.

Achillies was born with a father and a mother, his father was not a very good wolf. Especially to his mother, he had two other siblings in the litter. Two older brothers, Achillies was known as the runt, the weakest. The disappointment, he used this to make him stronger. Achilies loved his mother, and tried protecting her as much as he could. But being the smallest the father and his two older brothers became the bully of both Achillies and his mother. eventually his mother died from being bullied so much by his father. His family was born into the fighting rank. One of the most reasons why Achillies was the bullied, he was a runt. And he was the weakest, his father and brother didn't want him, they where ashamed to have him in their family as well as pack. After his mothers death Achillies vowed to never be weak again, he started secretly training, fighting off creatures and running and building up his skills. Eventually Achillies became strong enough to destroy his brothers and father, they never bothered him then. He gave his father a terrible scarring. Achillies continued practicing his skills and became a fighter just like his father and brothers. Achillies known for his quick feet, and his skills for fighting because of it. Unfortunately, Achillies lost his power as well as his rank from his actions. He was put as a omega, although he has great fighting skills and agility, he did not care who he killed or fight withed. Which caused him his whole rank. Achillies was also known to not give mercy for those who werent in wrong, nor give mercy for those who were in the wrong. He just loved killing, and fighting off wolves. Achillies let his puphood trauma get the best of him when he grew older right into his rank, power, and life.

Elise is a motherly but insecure she wolf, she tends to get very sensitive and snappy, but she means good at heart. It's just sometimes Elise does not know how to express herself, especially being such a young mother. She has a hard time controlling her emotions and feelings pregnant.

Elise was born in a beta family, her father was a beta and her mother was his mate. She had no siblings growing up so Elise was very spoiled and her parents of course's little she wolf. Her mother was the hard one on Elise, showing her how to be have and how to play with other young pups like her. Sense she didn't have any siblings to rough house with, Elise was quiet the timid one when it came to teeth. She would yelp when a pup or other wolf would show their teeth or grab her. Elise is a very gentle soul with a soft voice, she never raises her voice, but you'll know when shes tired of you. She tends to snap a lot. Elise's parents left the pack to be by themselves when Elise was just short after a year old, she decided to stay though. Elise watched her parents leave an never come back. Elise was a healer apprentice before she became a mother.

While I adore Achillies, and I really want to accept his character,
I'm not accepting maned wolves as while they look like the hybrid
of a fox and a wolf, they aren't related to either. Change his species
and he'll be accepted!

That's alright, i understand. I changed his species to a ethiopian wolf instead.
As for the mother, is anyone willing to be my mother wolf's mate? an i was planning on her having three puppies. So if anyone wants to be her puppies that would be great to. As for the mate anyone??
