Tell me a bit about this pot! : This is a special breed of Autumn Fly Trap, or as some like to it the Halloween Fly Trap. They received their name as they tend to become most hungry on Halloween itself, to where they will eat about 10 or more times that day ompared to the usual 1 or 2 depending on insect size. Another reason for their nickname is their purple and grey exterior, mixed with the pumpkin orange inside their mouth that lures their prey in.

For years this species has evaded our every attempt at cultivation; so often withering and dying before maturity, or indeed, before even sprouting has occurred.

It is with some great relief that I write, finally, that we have solved that mystery. Jumped the hurdle so to speak. Oh you'd be so proud, old friend. How long did we slave away at this?

How many had to die to achieve this goal. How angry they must have been. How hurt. They glow, during the full moons. And they speak to us, on occasion. Rarely more than idle, unintelligible chatter but nonetheless. What will they grow into, I wonder?

It's grown super big after I transferred it into this yellow plant pot it's in now - at this rate, soon It'll be taking up my entire windowsill. If this pot had carnivorous plants in it instead I fear maybe they'll eat me in my sleep :0
