the world at large by modest mouse! one of my favorite bands, and this was actually the first song of theirs i ever heard, on the car radio in about 2009 or 2010. although my (tied) number one favorite songs from the band are cowboy dan and closing time

^ that animation was AMAZING! i'm shocked it has less than a million views, the work done on it is so stunning. gives me a lot of inspiration, i'm planning an animatic of my own right now...

i really reaaaaally wish i knew more about animation because while i CAN animate. i don't really get the principles and just kinda work until it looks right to me <:[ which is tedious and i wish i could grasp the concept better, even if it's just a hobby ... i would like to be an epic animator
