Can we Escape? Deluki Lab(Unrealistic Demon Saluki Dog) RP

Also, the idea of the Deluki, story, design, and art all belongs to .: | January | :. and I am no way a part of her amazing creativity, though I love the creatures so. The RP was thought of and made by myself, with the express allowance of the creator. You may find her art shope here: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=594713 and in any Deluki picture.

••Intro••
It used to be a simple practice, I was told this much. Just an experimental lab, with a normal Saluki mascot... But the testers at the lab got bored, or, some simply say they themselves went insane. Either way, this was where -- how, it started, all with that one, special Saluki. They started feeding him bits and DNA pieces of the illusive, yet real, demonic wolf. This special feed made that dog change, and quite rapidly. His upper canines were stretched and pulled to form snake-like fangs, as sharp as a knife. The bottom canines did not grow as large, yer matched the upper pair in sharpness. All of the other teeth as well grew and gained pointed edges, perfect for tearing into smaller prey. The frail, thin body of the dog narrowed and became more slender, nearly a skeleton. Paws grew to be massive, like those of a wolf, and the legs became proportionally muscular. While the front legs stayed the standard Saluki height, the back one grew into a large wolf's range, making for an awkward look to the new creature. A small "mane" was formed around the neck like the demon wolf's. It's tongue made a snake-like appearance, without the fork of course, and barely fits in its mouth. The tails as well were stretched and thickened like the legs and mane, making a good weapon in battle, or a rudder for steering while running. Heck, they even tested it and the tail can be used as a powerful paddle, making the Deluki a good swimmer. Deluki is their name, the combination of Demon and Saluki of course... At first, the new breed was violent and rash, very horrible with humans. But as they were bred with domestic, tame Salukis, the Delukis were tamed, gentle to humans and their touch. Well, most, that is...

Most Delukis have pretty boring base coats, simple greys with blacks and whites, various dulled and darkened shades of blues and browns. Though they have successfully crossed their demon breed with other animals to create brighter coat colours, but the pups hardly survive, if the parents even breed. As of now, the brightest natural colour is only a rusty orange. Markings however, are a completely different subject. Markings come in a wide variety of mainly bright colours and patterns. Deluki has vibrant, glowing gums, markings, eyes, and tongues. These range from purples, blues, greens, reds, and yellows.

••Quick Plot Summary••
Now that we've gotten through all of that, I'll get to the summary plot :)
A new breed of demonic dog has spawned from the common Deluki. Many demonic features cover the dull-coated and bright, glowing "dog". All of these dogs are kept in the lab for study, carefully guarded so no one learns about them. None of them have managed to escape... Yet. Your job is to deal with the tests, or revolt against them. Or even try to find a way out!

• Tess' rules apply, no god-modding or power-playing.
• Only Delukis can be characters. The scientists are allowed to be played occasionally, but may not be characters.
• Don't escape on the thirty-fifth page, pace yourself.
• Remember, this is about being a unique, new species not allowed out of the lab, not a romance RP.
• Though this is not a romantic RP, romance is accepted, after all, we have to keep the species going, eh? ;)
• You must own a Deluki to play in this RP. Delukis are easily purchased with one punk Yulynh pony, or a PPS dino pony. If you want a custom, you only need to provide two of .:|January|:. 's whishlist pets. If you have none of these pets, PM me and I'll see if I can hook ya up with one or two ;)

Personality:
Sarasota is your regular domestic Deluki--in the way that she does not attack humans. Though she openly despises the creatures when they are gone, she acts sweet and playful when they are around, in hopes of them adopting her out into the real world where she can escape. Often, she uses her "beauty"(but remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder xD) to get what she wants when she wants it. But this is all a mask, not at all who she really is. Sarasota is:

Mischievous:
If you gave her the choice of escaping the lab from an unseen hole in the wall, or to tackle the humans in some sort of elaborate plan, she would do the latter. Causing trouble isn't a hobby to her, it's more of a lifestyle, but she does it in such a sophisticated way that she denies being called pup-like.

Loyal:
No matter how silly she acted, or how badly she misbehaved, she's always loyal to her friends. She could never leave them in the lab with a good conscious, and would make a point to come back for them, even if it meant just bringing their dead bodies out to be buried.

Ambitious:
Sarasota always seems to need to be the leader of something, and this is the only thing that turns her serious other than romance. Every crazy child needs their dose of calm, and this is the way she gets hers. As a leader, she seems to magically transform into a level-headed, hard-working, easy-going Deluki.

Romantic:
After watching the humans all her life, Sarasota has gotten used to their gossip about love life and relationships, and has even seen some drama in the lab. Secretly she yearns the life where she can be who she is and open up, possibly even take a mate and have pups, though she would never admit it.

Wise:
Though she has yet to realize it, Sarasota is quite wise. She can sit down and work out plans and ideas, but she can't sit still long enough to use this skill, and it's starting to fade away. When she was a pup, her mother used to make her exercise her brain, and of course she just thought it was lame and stopped after her mother was killed.

Playful:
Another thing she hides is her will to play like a pup, and this comes simply from her not being able to be a pup when she was young. Though she doesn't play-fight like a pup, she has the urge to sometimes pull stupid, immature pranks, or make snotty, cliche' comments.

History:
Like most, well all, Delukis, Sarasota was born in the lab. Her parents did favour each other, though were not in love. When her mother found out that she was pregnant she killed her mate out of rage. Now, her mother was not the typical Deluki like her father. She was not kind to human touch, she was rather insane, one of the stereotypical specimens of the breed. Because of this she did not grow up with a father, and though her mother often said wonderful things about her dad, she never once regretted his murder. Having a demented, crazy mother is what made Sarasota who she is. Her mother did not allow her to play, mess-around or be a pup when she was young, making her exercise her mind and do endurance tests. She also never let her just eat, she always had to work for her food, doing things like fight males and try to tackle her mother. Instead of making her stronger both physically and mentally, it turned her into an outer brute and an inner softie. When her mother tried to get her to attack a scientist with her and she refused, she was forced to carry her cousin's pups. Of the litter, only one survived, but Sarasota did love it dearly. In attempt to keep it away from her vile mother, her pup was killed by its father. Lashing out, she killed the brute and framed it on her mother, who in turn attacked her daughter. A scientist saw and promptly exterminated her mother for violence and "threatening the existence of the project". Since, she has lives a pretty normal life, considering her Deluki heritage and habitat. That is, besides being injected with a vaccine that gave her a toxic bite, and having the humans tattoo a glowing Japanese word onto her rump. This word is "Toxic"

He seems like a seasoned male, so somewhere around four or five.

Personality:

Lacrimosa is probably the only Deluki that serves as the lab's guard dog. He was the first Deluki that was demostocated enough to be gentle to a human's touch and plans to protect the species in this way. On the ouside, he may seem extremely harsh and depleted from other emotions, but if befriended, he is a large and plaful puppy.

History:

Lacrimosa was born with a Deluki as his father and a normal show-dog Saluki for a mother. Why a show-dog, you may ask. They used her because of her tolerence with humans; she was voted least likely to attack. So now at the belly of his mother, Lacrimosa was the only one out aof a litter of five that had glowing markings. His baby blue "X"s glowing everytime he wagged his tail. They realized he had glowing gums and tongue the first time he yawned in front of them. "Mmm, look at that, it seems we have a actual Deluki spawn on our hands." Those were the first words Lacrimosa heard after his ears could pick up monotone sounds and vibrations. His eyes opened soon after, giving the playful pup something to do. Some days he'd just sit around and stare at the bars of his cage, wondering what was behind them. As he aged, Lacrimosa began to respect the humans more and more. They would bring him little sweet-smelling foods that satisfied a pain just below his ribcage. They took him out of the cage for longer periods of time, and they respected him as he did; or so he thought. At the age of two, the testing began. Lacrimosa's loyalty to the humans wouldn't die, however, as he endured the pain. A few painful years later, we now hit to the point in time that is happening right now; the present. Lacrimosa is still held in the lab and doesn't plan on leaving. It may take some heavy persuring, but eventually, he'll want to leave.

Personality:
Sour is a crazy little Deluki that enjoys the pain of the testing like it's a drug. He takes a job next to Lacrimosa, guarding the cages of the other Deluki's. To pin a flat personality, Sour is insane. One of his tests ended wrong, giving the already crazed hound an addiction to the tests. His name by the humans is Suuka [Sooka]; by the other Deluki's he is Sour Hound.

History:
Separated from his mother and father at birth, Sour Hound lived in the cages with his many brothers and sisters. He was separated from them too when he matured to the age of one. This is when all of his tests began. The first few didn't do any mental damage to him, but the second few brought him downhill. They game him vaccines that stunned his brain for a few seconds as they wanted to test how fast his body, brain, and nerves would react. They didn't react, so, his brain shut down momentarily until the drug subsided. Once it was all out of his system, the brain restarted, booting any paticles left of the drug into his cerebrum. This is where the addiction started. The particles eventually dissolved, making his brain want more of the vaccine. It's been three years have past and on a weekly basis, Sour gets the treatment to satisfy his brain.

Personality: Calm and cooperative. Besides all that has happened to him, he loves humans. He takes a liking to extremely young things, and loves to play. He barely ever disagrees with anybody to keep peace, somewhat, but he can get offended, and when he does, which is on rare occasion, he will bite.

History: Same as every other Deluki; he was born and raised in a laboratory, but he was stolen away at a point by a kind human for two years, until the lab had found her and assassinated her. He was dragged back into this new lab, and hopes to be freed someday soon.

She's relatively young - She is almost two years old.
Personality:
Tonni is like most dogs, actually; she is friendly and loyal. Even though she's so young, she has always been the calm one. She likes being around the older delukis, as it gives her a sense of security. She has never dared to hurt one in a reasonable moment. Her personality have quickly made her "everyone's little sister".
But even so, Tonni also has a slightly darker side; due to her second experiment gone wrong, she now has very big anger management issues, meaning that if you hurt her or one of her friends, then she won't hesitate to attack you, and she keeps biting until she hear something snap. She does get medication for it, so the darker moments are less frequent; today, they almost never appear; she hasn't bit someone in more than six months.
History:
Tonni was - like most delukis - born in the lap. When she was born, she wasn't as brightly coloured as she is today; actually, she was a dark grey colour. But the scientists wanted to see if they could change the coat colour AFTER they were born. So when she reached the age of 6 months, they injected the skin of the delukis in her litter with different... Elements that were supposed to dye the skin in different colours; the experiment on her succeeded, even though they had tried to dye her a rusty red colour.
But as she grew up, she was allowed to walk freely in the laboratory; she didn't like being caged and would always make an awful lot of noise if they let her in there; as barking, whining, scratching on the floor, pushing at the door to the cage, et cetera.
She behaved nicely outside the cage, of course, and spend most of her time around the elder delukis; or resting around somewhere warm.
She has never caused any troubles, but she would definetely like to get out and enjoy the world - the world that she has never seen.

History: He was born in a lab setting like most Deluki's are and quickly grew annoyed by there experimentations and quickly drew to despise each one of them with a burning passion
