favorite summer event?

as the 2022 summer event is only a month or so away i wanted to ask what everyone's favorite summer event was! it can be an event you personally participated in or joined too late for 🤔 post your favorite pets from that event too if you'd like!

personally my favorite summer event was the 2016 space event!! i had a huge obsession with galaxies and space at the time and the pets from it are so beautiful

My favorite event was definitely the 2013 slumber party event, which coincided with when I first joined CS on my old account that is now lost to time. The pets were stunning and the event itself was super fun to play!

2011 - Medieval Faire
2020 - Carnival Event
2016 - Space Event
2014 - Egypt Event
2013 - Slumber Party
2015 - Candy Event

All based on the theme and most importantly the pets. I absolutely love and adore the pets from the events in my top 3 <3
Can't wait to see what the next theme will be :D

Not rated based on pets too much, but more on how much fun I had! (Which is why I didn't include medieval, couple months too late for that one! </3)
The beach event gives me a huge rush of nostalgia and happy memories, it was my very first summer event. The dream event was awesome and had such beautiful pets and items, and I just loved the dream vs nightmare aspect! (Team Dream!!)

I used to not like the Egypt event much, but over the years it's really grown on me, and I wish I appreciated it a little more at the time! I still had loads of fun, the theme just wasn't something little me was interested in.

The only event I truly didn't like was the jungle one. It seemed rushed, and it felt like the "story" there was seemed to end abruptly.
Mostly I just felt like ugh more jungle pets? We have loads of those already! Really didn't help that most of the pets from that event seemed so similar to each other, there wasn't much variety. Though I adore the macaws & the wildcat lions!

I'd probably be pretty disappointed if there's ever a savanna event for that reason, unless everything released was completely unique, and didn't use reuse ideas from previous years. (I'd definitely be down for elephants though)

It's funny how you use the "we have so many jungle pets" as an argument for not liking the jungle event much (and admittedly we do) because that's also why the space and especially the candy events are so low on my list. We have so so SO many candy/cake/sweets themed pets on this site, so it was such a disappointing theme to me because I'm not the biggest fan of that type of pet. And the same goes for space, but I like space fine enough which is why it's not too to low on my list.
But I love and adore real animals so the more the merrier for me <3
I would die for a safari theme <3

I could never have enough dessert & space pets (especially if it has stars)! To me, I feel as if we hardly had any dessert pets, I can only think of a few litters off the top of my head. (not including candy event) Definitely yeah, a ton of galaxy stuff though, and a good chunk of them are in my favorite's group. <3
I guess it's funny how everyone's tastes are so different! ^^

The ocean is my favorite aesthetic in the world and 2017 was the year I was super into CS, so I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Lost City!

I still love every pet that was released in that event and the story <3 And I was super involved in the casual chat discussions for that one too

I adored the slumber party 2013 event; the dream/nightmare rivalry was a lot of fun and that event has some absolutely stunning pets that include many of my favorite pets to this day. I loved the items too--the dinos and dino pilows, bubbles, dream catchers, dream and nightmare creatures, the sleep fairies, the books, mobiles, rat plushies...seriously too much to love about everything in that event.

The Medieval Faire will always be so sentimental and iconic to me. It literally lasted for weeks and I remember it being the thing I would look forward to doing during my boring summer. It was announced out of nowhere and all of CS went absolutely crazy when it dropped. There was a discussion thread that was almost full in one entire day and most of it was just spammy excited posts but we just couldn't help ourselves haha. (Sorry to the mods at that time, they had to kick it into overdrive.) The items were absolutely incredible that year and the storyline was also so fun. Everyone went nuts trying to trade for the banner dog and I remember I literally swapped a handful of them for a drink me at that time. CS was absolutely insane but we all had such a blast and were so passionate about collecting everything and not missing one detail. I never really was able to play another summer event as intensely as that one because all of my summers were busy going forward so that will forever be my favorite and such a cool memory.
