I just find it unfair when Mitsuba was transformed; unwillingly by Tsukasa... I mean Tsukasa said "You wanted lots of friends, and now you're satisfied with just one?" That meant Mitsuba considered Kou a friend already, and by the looks of it, he called Kou 'something important to him.' that implied that maybe he considered Kou as more than a friend before he died a second time. Plus when he reappears, it was claimed to be a second Mitsuba, but I think bits of the original might show up with the second one, like his memories showing up in the other's brain or something, so there could be a chance of him remembering Kou in the manga. Mitsuba is still Kou's friend, second or not, and even lil details in the manga show he was still thinking about Mitsuba, ie his camera being shined on by the light along with Kou and Nene. Plus, he dissolved into pieces at some point, so maybe the school mysteries will come undone and he could reincarnate with his memories or maybe even stay a ghost, but be able to roam free with Kou for the rest of his life, and then they would be able to stay together, provided that Teru doesn't exorcise him first, but I think he'll give Mitsu a pass since Kou loves him sm, since we see him give the Mokke a pass since his sister loves them, but thats just what I think
